About AICTE Post Doctoral Fellowship

AICTE Post Doctoral Fellowship was launched by AICTE to provide research opportunities to the students who have completed their PHD. This Fellowship will enhance research culture innovation and technical Education across India. The main objective of launching this Fellowship is to support The Scholars to promote their educational qualification in Engineering and Technology, management, design, hotel management and catering Technology, applied sciences, planning, computer application, applied arts craft and design, interdisciplinary area, etc. The Scholars will be able to continue their studies in the above-mentioned area from the AICTE-approved institutions.

Objective of AICTE Post Doctoral Fellowship

To provide an opportunity to carry out advanced studies and Research and science commerce and Technology, the AICTE organization has launched the AICTE Post Doctoral Fellowship. Under this Fellowship, INR 65,000 per annum will be provided to The Scholars as the fellowship to continue their research without worrying about any financial problems. Along with the annual fellowship, the contingency grant of INR 50,000 and a house rent allowance will also be provided to the selected scholars. The duration of this Fellowship is for 1 year which is extendable for up to another year. Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate must be unemployed and have completed their PhD degree in the relevant subject. 
• An applicant must have achieved 55% of marks or an equivalent percentage converted from a CGPA score. 
• The reservation of 5% of marks will be provided to the reserve categories such as SC ST OBC women and PWD 
• The age of the applicant should be below 35 years.

Selection Process

• The evaluation committee of the organization will go through the research proposal to promote the quality of research in the field of area.

• This evaluation will include the candidate’s accomplishment at the phd level, the professional standing of the supervisor and the university or institute where the postdoctoral research is to be carried out.
