What is a Post Matric Scholarship?
Post Matric Scholarship is created by the Chhattisgarh government to provide a lot of opportunities to the people who belong to the economically backward section of society. People will be provided a lot of opportunities after they have completed their class 10th education through the CG Post Matric Scholarship. Students must be permanent residents of the Chhattisgarh state to successfully apply for the post-matric scholarships that are presented by the Chhattisgarh government. Financial assistance will be directly provided to the bank account of the beneficiaries. The students must be getting good marks in their last qualifying examination to successfully get admission in class 11th and then they will be able to get financial assistance accordingly.

Objective of Chhattisgarh Post Matric Scholarship
The beneficiaries who are coming from the economically backward section of the society will be provided the benefit of this prestigious scholarship scheme. The eligible students who are currently staying in hostels and belong to the scheduled caste and scheduled tribe category will be eligible to get an annual scholarship of INR 3,800. Non-hostellers who belong to this category will receive INR 2,250 per year. The people who belong to the OBC category will also get a lot of financial assistance in this CG Post Matric Scholarship and they will be eligible to continue their higher education if they have completed their class 10th education in prestigious colleges. For the students who are in hostels, INR 1,000 per annum for class 11 students and INR 1,100 per annum for class 12 students will be provided. For regular students, INR 600 per annum for class 11 students and INR 700 per annum for class 12 students will be available.

Eligibility Criteria
- The applicant must be a permanent resident of Chhattisgarh state.
- The applicant must belong to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), or Other Backward Classes (OBC).
- The annual family income of the applicant must not exceed INR 1 lakh for OBC students and INR 2.5 lakh for SC/ST students.
- The applicant must have scored a minimum of 50% marks in their last examination.
- The applicant must be studying in Class 11 or above
