Union labor and Employment minister Bhupendra Yadav has announced an initiative called to donate a pension. This initiative is for the benefit of the people. Under this scheme, people can contribute to the pension fund of their supporting staff. Beneficiaries will get an assured pension of a minimum of rupees 3000 per month after attaining the age of 60 years. Objective Of Donate-a-Pension Scheme
The objective of the government behind starting this scheme is to help the people who wish to contribute to the betterment of their supporting staff’s future. With this scheme, one can contribute to the pension funds of his/ her supporting staff like gardeners, home-based workers, street vendors, head loaders, brick kiln workers, cobblers, etc.

Eligibility Criteria
- The applicant should be an unorganized worker
- Applicants’ monthly income should not be more than 15000 per month
- The age of the applicant should be in between 18 to 40 years
- Applicant must not be covered under the new pension scheme, employees State insurance corporation scheme for employees provident fund organization.
- The applicant must not be an income taxpayer.

- Applicants who wish to donate to the scheme can donate in two different ways.
- Through self login
- Through CSC VLE
Donate Through Self Login
- To Donate-a-Pension through Self Login, the applicant has to visit the official website of Pradhan Mantri shramyogi mandhan Yojana (PM- SYM).
- The homepage of the website will be displayed.
- Now from the homepage, click on the Donate-a-Pension option.
- Select the self login option.
- A new page will open on the screen.
- Enter your 10 digit mobile number in the given box.
- Now click on the Proceed option.
- Now you will be redirected to the donation page.
- Enter the details in the given application form.
- Select the amount to donate.
- Check the details carefully before final submission.
- Click on the submit option to donate the amount
Donate Through CSC VLE
