Dr. Ambedkar Scholarship Tripura is an initiative of the State Government of Tripura. This scholarship is for the economically weaker section of society. Students will get cash benefits to bear their educational expenses. Benefits will be given to the students on the basis of their academic performance and family income. Students can apply via the NSP portal to get the benefits of this scheme. The application form on the NSP portal is available only up to 31st January 2022. Eligibility Criteria
The aspirant who meets the below-given eligibility conditions may apply:
- Should be an Indian citizen
- Must belong to General Category
- Must not be from Schedule Caste, Schedule Tribe, and Other Backward Classes
- Annual income should not be more than INR 2.5 Lakh per annum
- Must be a student of post-matriculation or post-secondary courses in Government institutions
- Only two boys with the same parents/guardian will get a scholarship
- Must not hold any other scholarship/ stipend
- Must not pursue the same level degree again like a BA degree holder who is pursuing B.com cannot apply.

- On the home page, you will see a new registration option which is available at the top
- Select it and read the information that appears on the screen
