Esri India Masters Scholarship 2023: Download Application Form PDF

Esri India Masters Scholarship 2023 was created in order to provide opportunities to people who are beginning the second year of their PG program in geoinformatics or another course that revolves around remote sensing, GIS, spatial modeling, spatial analysis, digital image processing for GIS and related subjects, for their respective students. 10 students will be provided Rs 1 lakh in order to continue their education in the specified subjects only. The payment will be provided one time and the results will be declared by the third week of August 2023. The students can get the scholarship amount directly through their bank accounts. You need to provide all of the information related to your bank account details to the official website in order to get this scholarship as soon as possible. 

Objective Of Esri India Masters Scholarship 2023

Esri India Masters Scholarship is created in order to provide more information for people who are interested in courses such as remote sensing, GIS, spatial modeling, spatial analysis, and digital image processing for GIS. Students will be provided Rs 100000 rupees directly into their bank accounts and they will be able to use these rewards in order to continue their education in these specific subjects because these subjects are oftentimes very rare in India. The students can fill out the application form available on the official website in a pdf format and then they can attach all of the documents and scan all of them to send them to the concerned authorities. Make sure to apply for the scholarship before the last date and the merit list will be available online in the third week of August 2023 to be checked by the students.

Eligibility Criteria 

• Indian students who are beginning the 2nd year of their post-graduate course (M.Tech/MSc.) in Geoinformatics or a course that involves studying remote sensing, GIS, spatial modeling, spatial analysis, digital image processing for GIS and related subjects at an institute/university in India are eligible for the Academic Year 2023-24 Scholarship. 
• The Scholarship will be awarded on the basis of their performance in the academic year 2022-23, along with the fulfillment of other selection criteria.
• The recommendations must be submitted by the institute/university where the student is pursuing the course.

• Institutes/Universities can recommend the top 3 students for the Scholarship.
• The applicant must be a permanent resident of India.
• The applicant must be above the age of 18 years.

Award Details

• A total of 10 selected students will receive an annual one-time scholarship of INR 1 lakh.
• Also, the selected candidates will also receive an ArcGIS Personal Use License for 1 year.

Documents Required

• Self-attested copy of the student’s permanent address proof
• Self-attested copy of the student’s Institute ID-Card
• Student’s previous
• First-year mark sheet
• Synopsis of GIS projects done
• A Statement of Purpose of about 250 words

Selection Procedure

• The applicants will be selected by the selection committee.
• The students will be selected based on the interview results and other documents.
• The decision of the committee will be final.
• Institutes/Universities will be notified about the shortlisted candidates who will have to appear for a virtual interview. 

Terms And Conditions 

• The Scholarship money paid by the Company for the entries provided under this Scholarship Program is subject to statutory deduction and levies.
• In the event that any taxes, fees, or other charges are assessed on the payments, the student is solely responsible and shall be liable for and shall pay any such applicable tax, fee, or other charge.
• Applicant agrees that by submitting an entry to the Scholarship Program it warrants that the content of the entry is entirely of the Applicant’s/ student’s own creation and does not in any way infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party. If it is discovered that any entry is not the original creation of the student and/or breaches any other person’s intellectual property rights, or any applicable Law, the Company shall be entitled to disqualify that entry and the student from the Scholarship Program.
• Applicant acknowledges that in connection with its Submissions, it may access or receive business information that is proprietary to the Company. The Applicant shall not divulge, copy, disclose or use same, in whole or in part, for any purpose other than for the purpose of this Scholarship Program except with the express written consent of the Company however, that confidential and proprietary information shall not mean or include:
  •  a) any information which is publicly known or publicly available
  •  b) any information which becomes rightfully known to the Applicant from a third party not bound by any restriction of non-disclosure
  •  c) any information which is expressly authorized to be disclosed by the Company in writing.
• The applicant shall not use or refer to the Scholarship Program or Company in any form of publicity or advertising (including any company trademark, trade name or service mark) directed at the public at large without the express prior written consent of the Company.
• Applicant warrants that the submissions are their students’ own original work and, as such, they are the sole and exclusive owner and rights holder of the submitted submissions. 
• The Applicant will defend, hold harmless and indemnify, including reasonable legal fees, the company and its personnel against claims that arise or are alleged to have arisen as a result of negligent or intentional acts or omissions or breach by them of any term of this Scholarship Program.
• Any false information provided within the context of the Scholarship Program by the Applicant concerning identity, mailing address, telephone number, email address, ownership of right or non-compliance with these terms and conditions or the like may result in the immediate elimination of the Applicant from the Scholarship Program without any notice.
• The Company is not responsible for any malfunction of the entire Program Site or any late, lost, damaged, misdirected, incomplete, illegible, undeliverable, or destroyed submission or votes due to system errors, failed, incomplete or garbled computer or other telecommunication transmission malfunctions, hardware or software failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, typographical or system/human errors and failures, technical malfunction(s) of any telephone network or lines, cable connections, satellite transmissions, servers or providers, or computer equipment, trac congestion on the Internet or at the Scholarship Program site, or any combination thereof, including other telecommunication, cable, digital or satellite malfunctions which may limit the applicant’s ability to participate.
• If for any reason the Scholarship Program is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer viruses, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the Scholarship Program, the Company reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Scholarship Program. The Company further reserves the right to disqualify any Applicant who tampers with the submission process or any other part of the Scholarship Program or Scholarship Program site. Any attempt by the Applicant to deliberately damage any website, including the Scholarship Program Site, or undermine the legitimate operation of the Scholarship Program is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, the Scholarship Program administrator reserves the right to seek damages from any such applicant to the fullest extent of the applicable law.
• Applicant must ensure that all submissions submitted to the Company are not subject to controls requiring government authorization for the export or release of certain technology and technical data.
• This Scholarship Program shall be governed by the laws of India. All disputes, controversies and differences of opinion arising out of or in connection with this Scholarship Program or for the breach hereof shall be amicably settled between the Parties in good faith. Any legal action or proceedings relating to this Scholarship Program shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in New Delhi

• The applicant will first have to download the Esri India application form by clicking on the link given here

• You have to fill out the application form accordingly.
• Get the Form(s) signed by the student, Head/Dean/Director of the Institute/University, and stamp it.
• Scan and submit the Form(s) to gis.education@esri.in along with all the documents.
