The selected applicants under the scholarship will get tuition fees covered for up to three and a half years for doctoral candidates and up to two years for research master candidates. Eligibility Criteria
- The applicant must not be a domestic student, as defined as being a student who is an Australian citizen.
- The applicant must not be a New Zealand citizen.
- The applicant must be commencing or enrolled in an HDR program (for which GUIPRS support is available) at Griffith University.
- The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s Degree (AQF 8) with First Class Honours (Class I).
- The applicant must not be in receipt of an equivalent award or scholarship from the Commonwealth Government designed to offset research program tuition fees.

Benefits of Griffith University International Scholarship
- The fee offset provided by the GUIPRS removes the liability of the awardee to pay program tuition fees for the tenure of the award.
- The applicant will get the cost of a standard Overseas Student Health Cover policy which covers the candidate and dependents (if any) for up to 42 months.
- The applicant will also get the Student Services and Amenities Fee for which the scholarship recipient would otherwise be liable during the tenure of the scholarship.
- The students can complete their studies at the University of Griffith with the help of the scholarship.
