The highest subsidy available to general category recipients is 25%, with a cap of Rs 2.50 lakh. The maximum subsidy available to special category beneficiaries (SC/ST/OBC/MIN/PHC/ex-servicemen/women) is 35 percent up to Rs 3.50 lakh. To enjoy the benefits of this plan, the promoter’s general category contribution must be 10% of the cost of the project, and the special category contribution must be 5% of the cost of the project. This plan will only be available to unemployed youth in rural areas. Aside from that, this scheme’s benefits are only available to new units.
