About Minority Scholarship For DTE, DHE, and DMER Courses 2023

The minority development department of Maharashtra state will come out with a lot of different minority scholarships that will help the people who belong to the minority community such as if they are belonging to the Muslim, Buddha, Christian, Jain, Sikh, Parsi, Jews religions. The applicant can fill out the application form for the Minority Scholarship For DTE, DHE and DMER Courses, Maharashtra presented by the minority community development department. The application form is available on the official website of Aaple Sarkar presented by the Maharashtra Government to provide proper opportunities. Types Of Scholarships 

The following scholarships are available by the minority department to help minority people:-

  • State Minority Scholarship Part II (DHE)
  • Scholarship for students of minority communities pursuing Higher and Professional courses(DTE)
  • Scholarship for students of minority communities pursuing Higher and Professional courses(DMER)

Benefits Of Minority Scholarship For DTE, DHE and DMER Courses

The following benefits will be provided to the people who are applying for this prestigious scholarship opportunity:-

  • State Minority Scholarship Part II (DHE)
    • The total annual course fee of 5000 whichever amount is less will be the scholarship amount.
  • Scholarship for students of minority communities pursuing Higher and Professional courses(DTE)
    • For Technical Course ( Part-I of GR ) –Scholarship Amount Maximum Rs.25,000/- Per Annum or Actual Tuition Fees whichever is less.
    • For Technical Course ( Part-I of GR ) –Scholarship Amount Maximum Rs.50,000/- Per Annum or Actual Tuition Fees and Exam Fee whichever is less effective from AY 2022-23.
  • Scholarship for students of minority communities pursuing Higher and Professional courses(DMER)
    • The total annual course fee or Rs.25,000 whichever amount is less will be the scholarship amount.
Eligibility Criteria

The applicant must follow the following eligibility criteria in order to apply for this prestigious scholarship:-

  • State Minority Scholarship Part II (DHE)
    • 1. Graduation and post-graduation can apply (arts/commerce/science/Law/Education)
    • 2. Domicile of Maharashtra.
    • 3. Income should be upto Rs.8 lakhs
    • 4. Only 2000 applicants will be provided a quota (freshers)
    • 5. Maharashtrian Students studying Out of Maharashtra cannot apply for this scheme.
  • Scholarship for students of minority communities pursuing Higher and Professional courses(DTE)
    • a) Applicant should have a Nationality of India.
    • b) Candidate should be a Domicile of Maharashtra State.
    • c) Candidates should have passed SSC from Maharashtra State.
    • d) Applicant should be a” Bonafide Student of the Institute” and admitted for Professional and Technical courses (Diploma / Graduation / Post Graduation Degree) as mentioned in GR
    • e) Candidate should be admitted through the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) / Institute Level.
    • f) Applicant should not avail of any other scholarship/stipend.
    • g) The Total Annual Income of the Family / Guardian should not be more than 8 Lakhs.
  • Scholarship for students of minority communities pursuing Higher and Professional courses(DMER)
    • For students who had taken admitted from MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, BUMS, BPTH, BOTH, BASLP, BP&O, BSc Nursing, MSc Nursing, BPMT, OPHTHALMIC ASST., OPTOMETRY, PB BSc Nursing
    • and courses affiliated with Maharashtra university of health science, Nashik.
    •  The family’s Annual Income is less than equal to 8,00,000.
    •  Admission to the course should be through CET/competitive exam/HSC marks obtained.
    •  30%scholarship is reserved for girls. The first list of 70% of students (combined) is prepared and after that 30% of girls’ scholarships will be selected which are not included in the 70% list.
    •  The person should be Domicile of Maharashtra.
    •  If the targeted amount of scholarship for a particular minority community is not achieved then other minority community students’ scholarships can be included in it.
    •  Also applicable to candidates studying outside Maharashtra, but he/she must be a domicile of Maharashtra/a resident of Maharashtra for 15 years.
Documents Required

The applicant must submit the following documents in order to apply for this prestigious scholarship successfully-

  • State Minority Scholarship Part II (DHE)
    • 1)previous year’s Marksheet.
    • 2)Domicile Certificate.
    • 3) Income certificate.
    • 4) 12th-year marksheet.
    • 5) current year fee receipt.
    • 6)minority certificate self-declared.
    • 7) College bonafide certificate.
  • Scholarship for students of minority communities pursuing Higher and Professional courses(DTE)
    • a) Educational Certificate – S.S.C.(10th) & onwards.
    • b) Income and Minority declaration – Affidavit on Non-Judicial Stamp Paper or Income certificate from the employer, if any. School leaving certificate can also be considered as Proof of Minority ) or Self Declaration.
    • c) Proof of permanent residence: – Copy of Domicile Certificate/Election Card etc.
    • d) For Renewal of Scholarship: – Income declaration and Mark Sheet of the previous examination.
  • Scholarship for students of minority communities pursuing Higher and Professional courses(DMER)
    • School leaving Certificate
    • New applicants need to submit HSC and SSC marksheet(Not applicable for renewal)
    • Income certificate of Parents/Form no 16.
    • In the income certificate/Affidavit, it should be clearly cut mentioned that the candidate belongs to a minority community.
    • Domicile Certificate
    • Student’s PAN card (optional)
    • Father’s PAN card
    • Mother’s PAN card (optional)
    • Aadhar card
    • Previous year’s marksheet.
    • If a candidate is studying outside Maharashtra the following documents need to be submitted :
      • Letter from concerned council/Authority stating the institute is recognized.
      • Copy of FRA
      • Bonafide for the current academic year
