- Applicant must be a permanent resident of Uttarakhand
- The applicant must belong to the scheduled tribe category
- Students must be studying in government recognized school
- The applicant must have passed the previous class
- Applicant cannot be enrolled in more than one educational institution

- For getting a scholarship from class 1st to 8th no Income certificate is required
