This project is responsible for the BOCW board, which oversees programs like the stipend scheme, the Shagun Yojana, the LTC, and the maternity scheme, among others. As you may be aware, before the launch of this online portal, state employees had to go around to government offices to receive their labour cards and had to deal with a slew of other inconvenient issues, wasting a significant amount of time. In light of these issues, the state government has developed an official website for workers called e-portal. This will also save the workers’ time because they will not have to travel.

- On the Punjab E Labor Portal, only Punjabi workers are eligible to apply.
- Online registration, online application request, one-time document submission, online payment gateway, and online processing are all available through the Dynamic Common Application Form (CAF).
- Monitoring and downloading inspection reports, filing annual returns, sending labour welfare contributions via online payment gateways, self-certification schemes, and combined inspections from the plant and labour wings, among other things.
- The benefits are sent straight to their bank accounts by the Punjab State Labor Welfare Board Department.
Features of Punjab Labour Card
Some of the key benefits of the scheme are as follows:
- Stipend Scheme: Children of registered construction workers are eligible for a stipend of Rs 3,000 to 70,000 per year (from class I to degree course)
- Shagun Scheme: For the weddings of two girls of enrolled construction workers, each daughter will receive 31,000/- (shagun payment). If the girl is a registered member, she will be eligible for a marriage omen under this scheme.
- Funeral Assistance Scheme: After the death of a registered construction worker or a member of the family, financial help of Rs. 20,000/- would be offered for the funeral and funeral costs in the state of Punjab.
- A yearly stipend of 20,000/- will be granted for the care of mentally disabled or handicapped children of construction employees.
- Cycle Scheme for Children of Construction Workers: The Board offers a one-time freecycle to kids of enrolled construction workers in Punjab who are in grades 9th to 12th.

Eligibility Criteria
