- The applicant should be an Indian citizen
- The candidate must be a native of Rajasthan state
- Applicant must belong to SC/ST/Special Backward Classes
- Applicant’s parent/guardian’s annual income should not be more than 2 lakh rupees
- He/She should not be an employee of the Rajasthan state government
- Must have secured at least 60% marks in 12th standard to take admission in for admission in state engineering/medical colleges.

- Election of students will be done on the basis of the percentage of marks achieved in class 10th and 12th.
