About Thakur Sen Negi Chatravriti Yojana 2024

Thakur Sen Negi Chatravriti Yojana Objective

The main objective of this scholarship is to give the top hundred girls and top hundred boys scholarships. The scholarships will be given to the candidates belonging to the tribal community of the Himachal Pradesh state. The scholarship will be given on the basis of the result of the matric examination conducted by the Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education Dharamshala. The scholarship will be provided on a merit basis only. You can renew your scholarship in the 12th or the second year of the course as per the performance that you have given in the internal examination of the 11th class or in the 1st year of your course.

Eligibility Criteria

The applicant must follow the following eligibility criteria to apply for the scholarship:-

• The applicant must be a permanent resident of Himachal Pradesh state
• And the applicant must have passed class 10
• The applicant must have taken admitted in class 11th or in any professional course within or outside the Himachal Pradesh State
• The applicant must belong to the tribal community

Awards For The Scholarship

The following awards will be provided in the scholarship:-

• The selected candidates will be given Rupees 11000 per annum for a time period of 2 years

The required documents are as follows.

• Passport Size Photo.
• AADHAAR Card(UID / EID No).
• Himachali Bonafide Certificate.
• Previous Year(s) Result Card(s) from Matric onwards.
• Latest Bank Statement of the Students Bank Account.
• ST Category Certificate (Issued by an officer, not below the rank of Tehsildar)(DDHE / Head of the Institute is directed to check this Certificate strictly, during verification).
