Ujjwala Yojana List 2022
This scheme has assisted 8.3 crore families across the country. On February 1, 2021, our country’s Finance Minister, Nirmala Sitharaman, released the budget. In the budget, it was declared that the Ujjwala scheme would benefit 1 crore more people. This budget will also promote the gas-based economy. A Transportation System Operator (TSO) has also been announced to regulate the gas pipeline’s common carrying capacity. The Finance Minister also stated during the presentation of this budget that fuel was supplied without interruption throughout the Kovid-19 lockdown.
The Finance Minister also stated that the city gas distribution network, which provides CNG to autos and piped cooking gas to families, will be expanded to 100 additional districts. The initial goal of the initiative was to distribute 8 crore LPG subscriptions to qualified people. The initiative has already resulted in a 62 percent increase in the number of houses with LPG.

Objectives of Ujjwala Yojana List
More than 80 lakh Ujjwala Yojana 2.0 Pradhan Mantri connections have been granted. On May 1, 2016, the Ujjwala Yojana was inaugurated. The goal of this program is to provide ladies with LPG gas. A lump sum amount is paid under this scheme for obtaining an LPG gas connection. LPG service is made available in the name of the female head of the home through this channel.
