Eligibility Criteria

The applicant must follow the following eligibility criteria to apply for the scholarship:-

Post-Matric Scholarship for OBC Students, Uttarakhand	OBC	The students pursuing studies in class 11 or above can apply for this scholarship. They must have passed the last qualifying examination. The annual income of the family should be less than INR 1 Lakh.
Post-Matric Scholarship for SC Students Uttarakhand	SC	The students who are pursuing their studies from class 11 onwards are eligible for the scholarship. They must have passed their last qualifying examination. The annual income of the family should be less than INR 2.5 Lakh.
Post-Matric Scholarship for ST Students, Uttarakhand	ST	The scholarship is applicable to students studying in class 11 to the postdoctoral level who have passed the last qualifying examination. The annual income of the family should be less than INR 2,50,000. Candidates who are already in receipt of any other scholarship are not eligible to apply.
Pre-Matric Scholarship for SC Students (State/Center Sector)	SC	The scholarship is open for students of classes 1 to 10. It is mandatory to have passed the last qualifying examination. The annual income of the family for students of classes 9 and 10 should not exceed INR 2 Lakh. There is no income limit for students of classes 1 to 8.
Pre-Matric Scholarship for OBC Students (State and Central Sector), Uttarakhand	OBC	The scholarship is open for students of classes 1 to 10 who are studying at a recognized school within the state. They must have passed the last qualifying examination. The annual income of the family should not be more than INR 44,500.
Pre-Matric Disability Scholarship (State Sector), Uttarakhand	For all	Students with a disability who are studying in classes 1 to 10 at a recognized school within or outside the state can apply for this scholarship. They must have passed the last qualifying examination. The annual income of the family should not exceed INR 24,000.
Pre-Matric Scholarship for ST Students (State/Center Sector)	ST	The students of classes 1 to 10 are eligible for this scholarship. They must be studying in a recognized school within the state and have passed the last qualifying examination. The annual income of the family should not exceed INR 2 Lakh from all sources (for students of classes 9 and 10). For students of classes 1 to 8, no income criteria are applicable.
Post Matric Scholarship for EBC Students – Uttarakhand	General	The students pursue studies at the post-matric level (class 11 to postdoctoral level) at an institution recognized by the government. The annual income of the family should be less than INR 1 Lakh from all sources. The students pursuing their studies through distance learning or correspondence can also apply.
Pre-Matric Scholarship Scheme for Minority (100 percent State Sector)	Minority community	The students belonging to any of the following minority groups can apply – Christianity, Muslim, Jain, Parsi, Sikh, or Buddhism. They must be studying in classes 1 to 10 at a recognized institution within the state. They must have passed the last qualifying examination. The annual income of the family should be less than twice of current income slab below the poverty line.
