About Vahani Scholarship Application Form 2023
Vahani Scholarship Programme has been designed by a non-profit organization to help students who are suffering from the violence of poverty and prejudice from the day they were born. Under this scheme, only 30 students from across the country will be selected to pursue their under-graduation degree courses from the topmost universities situated in India. Beneficiaries will get full financial support combined with ongoing personal mentorship. You need not go anywhere to apply for the scheme. Application forms can be filled in online mode. Objective of Vahani Scholarship
The main aim behind launching this scheme is to open doors for the exceptionally brilliant underprivileged children in India and send them to the top universities across India for under-graduation degree courses.
Vahani Scholarship Benefits
- The beneficiary will get a full tuition fee for an undergraduate degree course plus accommodation, plus a stipend for a laptop and study materials and a round-trip travel ticket.
- Beneficiaries will get Intensive counselling consisting of personal skill development, application guidance and leadership development
- After completion of the course, beneficiaries will get internship opportunities, career counsellors & pairing with working professionals mentorship by older students, internal guidance, debates, get-togethers, workshops, English classes, computer classes, psychological counselling and cultural adjustment through training and exchange programmes
Scholarship Award
- 30 students will get the benefit of this scheme
- Students can adopt any full-type under-graduation course
Eligibility Criteria
- The applicant should be an Indian citizen
- Applicant must have passed the 11th standard examination
- He/She must have scored 85% or above in the 10th and 11th Board Examinations
- Applicant must have the desire to take admitted in any undergraduate degree programme in any top Government University or Government Recognised Universities/Colleges.
- The annual income of the family should not be more than 1.5 lac per annum
- Students have to maintain the score in the 12th board examination and once at the university level as well to get the benefits.
Selection Process
Selection will be made on the basis of academic excellence, consistency, quality of the application, and financial condition. Selected candidates have to appear for an interview with their guardians. The interview date will be conveyed to the student later on. The interview will be held in Delhi and the travel expense to attend the interview is reimbursed.
