About Wells Mountain Initiative 2023

Important Dates
- Applications must receive by March 1 of each year to be considered for the following academic year. WMI Scholars are selected through an in-depth multi-step review process.
- The selected WMI Scholars will get an email on August 1. Their names will also get published on our website homepage and the WMI Facebook page.
- Those who are not selected will also be notified after August 1.
Selection Procedure
In order to get selected by the organization, all of the students are requested to record all of their service activities with proper information such as dates and the times spent on those activities. You need to also collect your secondary School transcript and national examination result which will use to get you selected for the scholarship program. The students also need to have at least two letters of recommendation on an official stationary form to people who have been assisting them professionally or personally. You must also have all of your documents ready in the English language and then only you will select by the authorities based on your achievements.
Application Format
The following are required elements for an application to consider complete:-
- Clear personal photo
- Essay (topic is stated on the application form)
- 2023 application form
- Personal essay statement
- Two recommendation letters
- Official transcript of grades from secondary school
- Official grading key to interpreting secondary school grades
- The official transcript of grades from tertiary studies (if applicable)
- Official grading key to interpreting tertiary grades
- Official results from your national exam
- The official grading key to interpret scores on your national exam
Eligibility Criteria
Applicant must follow the following eligibility criteria to apply for the scholarship program presented by the organization:-
- The applicant can come from any country and can belong to any gender or identity.
- An applicant must have completed secondary Education with good excellent grades.
- An applicant must be below the age of 35 years on March 1st, 2023
- The applicant will continue his or her education in this country or another country
- The applicant must be pursuing a first bachelor’s degree or diploma.
- The applicant will be enrolled in a program of study that will benefit the community and/or contributes to the continued growth and advancement of his or her home country
- The applicant plans to live and work in his or her own country after graduation
- The applicant has demonstrated his or her commitment to giving back and has volunteered prior to applying
- An applicant may have some other funds available for his or her education, but will not be able to go to pursue his or her tertiary degree without financial assistance

To apply for the scholarship you will have to follow the simple procedure given below:-
- You can apply online by going to the official website of the organization from the link given here and then you can easily fill out the application form and you will be eligible for this scholarship opportunity.
- You can also send your application offline by printing the 2023 application form.
- It is your responsibility to clearly complete it and attach all required supporting documents before sending them to us. Applications must receive by March 1, 2023, in our office. Applications that arrive after March 1, 2023, will not review.
- This means that you must allow at least three weeks to mail your application to us from abroad.
- Only send one completed application.
- Incomplete or additional mailings with supporting documents will discard. We highly encourage applicants to apply online to ensure the delivery of their completed applications.
