About Himachal Pradesh Centrally Sponsored Pre Matric Scholarship Scheme for SC Students

If you are a permanent resident of the Himachal Pradesh State then you will be eligible for the new scholarship which is only available for candidates belonging to the scheduled caste category and these candidates must be permanent residents of the Himachal Pradesh state in order to successfully apply for Himachal Pradesh Centrally Sponsored Pre Matric Scholarship Scheme for SC Students and get the benefits related to the scholarship. The applicant must fill out the application form for the scholarship of opportunity before the last date of 30th November 2022 and the applicant can fill out the application form available at the official National scholarship portal. The applications will be verified by the concerned authorities in the month of December 2022.

Benefits Of Himachal Pradesh Centrally Sponsored Pre-Matric Scholarship Scheme for SC Students

The following benefits will be provided to all the people who are applying for this prestigious scholarship:-

• Day Scholar – INR 3,500 per annum
• Hosteller – INR 7,000 per annum
• In addition, a 10% extra allowance will give to Divyang (Disabled) students.

Documents Required

The following documents are require in order to successfully apply for this prestigious scholarship scheme:-

• One passport-size photograph with the student’s signature
• Self-attested copies of certificates and mark sheets for previously passed exams
• Certificate of caste signed by an authorized Revenue Officer, not below the rank of Tehsildar
• Income certificate of the parents

Eligibility Criteria

The applicant must follow the following eligibility criteria in order to successfully apply for this scholarship:-

• The applicant must be an Indian citizen and have a domicile in Himachal Pradesh
• The applicant must belong to Scheduled Caste (SC) category
• The applicant must be a full-time student of Class 9 and 10
• The applicant must have a family income of less than INR 2.5 lakh per annum

To apply for the scholarship we will have to follow the simple procedure given below:-

• The candidates will first have to visit the HP Centrally Sponsored website of the national scholarship portal by clicking on the link given here

• The home page will open on your screen.
• Click on the option called New Registration

• The instructions will open on your screen.
• Tick mark the declaration.
• Click on the “Continue” option.
• Enter all of the details.
• Enter name, date of birth, mobile number, gender, email ID, bank details etc.
• Enter the captcha code 
• Click the “Register” option.
• Now you have to log in using your credentials.
• Click on the option called Application Form

• The application form will be displayed on the screen
• Enter details including the State of Domicile, Name of the student, Date of Birth, Community/ Category, Father’s Name, Aadhaar card Number, Mobile Number, Scholarship Category, Gender, Religion, Mother’s Name, Annual Family Income, Email ID etc.
• Click on “Save & Continue”
• Upload the documents.
• Click on “Final Submission’’
• The application form will be successfully submitted.

• A new page will open on your screen.
• You need to select your year from the drop-down menu.

• Enter your application ID and password.
• Click on the option called Submit.
• The application status will open on your screen.

Terms and Conditions

The applicant must follow the following terms and conditions in order to apply for the scholarship successfully:-

• The recipient of this scholarship can not accept any other scholarship or stipend.
• The candidates belonging to one State but studying in another State will be awarded scholarships by the state to which they belong. 
• The provisions of this scheme can be changed at any time at the discretion of the Government of India.
• The scholarship for studying in any class will be available for only one year. If a student has to repeat a class, no scholarship will be awarded for that class for the second (or subsequent) year.
• If a scholar is unable to appear in the annual examination owing to illness, the award may be renewed subject to the production of a medical certificate from the prescribed authority and acceptance of the same by the institution.
