All India Council for Technical Education comes up with an initiative to help students to complete their studies who are financially weak. Those students who are orphans or either both or one of the parents died due to COVID-19 spread or children of Shaheeds can grab the benefits. All those students who are pursuing degree/ diploma courses from AICTE-approved institutes and courses can apply. AICTE Swanath Scholarship Latest Updates
The AICTE Swanath Scholarship 2023 has now extended the deadline for the students who are willing to fill out the application form in order to get the benefits of the scholarship. The last date to fill out the application form for this scholarship is 31st December 2022 for all students. The students are responsible for filling out the application form before the last day in order to get the benefits of the scholarship program. Objective of Scholarship
Many students are not able to pursue their higher studies due to financial crises. By starting the Swanath Scholarship, AICTE desire to help such students. The main aim of the All India Council for Technical Education behind launching this scholarship is to give an opportunity to the students to study further and prepare for a successful future through education.
Benefits of AICTE Swanath Scholarship
- The applicant will get Rs. 50000/- per annum for a lump-sum payment for the college fees, purchase of computers, stationeries, books, equipment, software, etc. No additional payment will be given in lieu of hostel charges and medical charges etc.
- Scholarships for degree students will be awarded for 4 years for degree students and 3 years for diploma students.
- If the student is currently studying in the 2nd/ 3rd/ 4th year at degree level, the duration of the scholarship will be reduced to 3/2/1 year.
- If the student is currently studying in the 2nd/ 3rd year at diploma level, the duration of the scholarship will be reduced to 2/1 year.
Number of Scholarship
Under this scheme scholarships will be awarded to 2000 students out of which 1000 scholarships are for degree students and the other 1000 for diploma students.
Mode of Payment
Selected beneficiaries will get the scholarship amount directly in their bank account through DBT mode on annual basis.
Eligibility of Scholarship
- Applicant should be an orphan OR either or both parents died due to Covid-19 OR Wards of Armed Forces and Central Paramilitary Forces martyred in action (Shaheed)
- The family income of applicants, the family should not be more than Rs. 8 Lakh per annum.
- Applicant must have taken admission in degree or diploma course in AICTE Approved institutions
- He/She must not get any scholarship from other sources.
- Applicant must have taken admission in a regular course.
- The scholarship will not be entitled to a correspondence course or distinct education or private course.
AICTE Swanath Scholarship Selection Criteria
- Selection of the candidates will be made on the basis of merit in the marks of the 12th standard exam for the degree course and the 10th standard exam for a diploma course.
- In case of a tie between the two candidates, the elder age candidate will get a higher rank
- In case the age criteria do not work to break the tie then the annual income of the family will consider breaking the ties. Lower annual family income will be ranked higher.

- Orphan Candidates:
- Death Certificate of Father & Mother.
- Notarized affidavit on Rs 100/- stamp paper mentioning details as per enclosed format.
- Bonafide Certificate issued by the institution.
- 10+2/ equivalent and 10th Mark sheet for Degree Level and 10th/ equivalent for Diploma Level
- Category Certificate (SC/ ST/ OBC-NCL).
- Candidates whose either or both Parents Died due to Covid-19:
- Death Certificate of Father/Mother or both explicitly mentioning that the death was due to Covid-19.
- If one parent (Father or Mother) is alive, the current year income certificate explicitly mentions that the income of the family is less than 8 Lakh.
- Bonafide Certificate issued by the institution.
- 10+2 / equivalent and 10th Mark sheet for Degree Level and 10th/ equivalent for Diploma Level.
- Category Certificate (SC/ ST/ OBC-NCL).
- Notarized affidavit on Rs 100/- stamp paper mentioning details as per enclosed format.

Apply for AICTE Swanath Scholarship
- Accumulate all the information before applying for the scholarship from this article or read the AICTE notification.
- To apply for the scholarship, you need to go to the NSP portal.
- From the home page of the portal, you have to go to the New Registration option.
- Click the link, and read the instructions carefully that appear on the screen.
- Agree to the declaration and tick the check box.
- Hit the continue option and the application form will open on the screen.
- Enter the asked details in the application form like

- Date of birth
- Gendre
- Mobile number
- Email id
- Bank account number etc.
- Enter the captcha code and choose the register option.
- Now login with the NSP portal and search for a scholarship scheme.
- Choose to apply option and the form will appear.

Renewal of AICTE Swanath Scholarship
- Go to the login option and hit the renewal 2021-22 option from the drop-down list
- Enter the application ID, password, and captcha code
- Hit the login option and the renewal application will appear
- Complete the application form and upload the documents.
- Review the details in the application.
- Submit the application by hitting submit option.
Update Mobile Number
- To apply for the renewal of the scholarship, you need to go to the NSP portal.
- Go to the login option and hit the renewal 2021-22 option from the drop-down list.
- A new login form will open.
- Now click on the Update Mobile Number option from there.
- A new page will open.
- Enter the details in the form like applicant name, old mobile number, and other details.
- Now click on the Verify and Continue option.
- In this way, you can update your mobile number
Fresh Login
- First of all, you need to go to the NSP portal.
- Go to the login option and hit Fresh Login option along with the login year.
- Now the login application form will open.
- Enter the username and password.
- Now click on the Login option.
View Scholarship Sanctioned List
- First of all, you need to go to the NSP portal.
- Go to the New Registration option and a new page will open.
- Click on the Scheme Wise Scholarship Sanctioned List option.
- A new page will open on the screen where you have to select your state, district, ministry, application type, academic year and other details.
- Now click on the submit option.
- The beneficiary list will open on the screen.
View Scheme Eligibility
- First of all, you need to go to the NSP portal.
- Go to the Scheme Eligibility option and a new page will open.
- Enter the details in the application form like Domicile State, Religion, Course Level and other details.
