What is the Assam Scholarship 2023?

The organization will now be providing the Assam Scholarship to people of the Assam state. Assam Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

You will have to follow the following eligibility criteria in order to successfully apply for the scholarship scheme:-

Combined Merit Scholarship	For all	The scholarship is open to students of a general degree and master’s degree courses in the Faculty of Science, Commerce, Arts. They are required to have at least 60% marks in the previous qualifying examination.
Post Graduate Research Fellowship, Assam	For all	Students pursuing M.Phil. / Ph.D. / Postgraduate LLM / Post-doctoral level research from a recognized university can apply for this fellowship. They should have at least 55% marks in the previous qualifying examination
Pre-Matric Scholarship for OBC Students	For OBC	10 class 1 students can apply for this scholarship. They should have a minimum attendance of 60% in the previous year. In the main eligibility, the annual family income of the student should not be more than INR 2.50 lakh.
Pre-Matric Scholarship for ST Students (Class 1 to 8)	For ST	This scholarship is open to the students, who are studying in class 1 of 8 out of an institution recognized by the Government of Assam. In the main eligibility, the annual family income of the student should not be more than INR 50,000 lakh.
Pre-Matric Scholarship for ST Students (Class 9 & 10)	For ST	The scholarship is applicable for students who are studying in classes 9 and 10 (full-time) in a government school or government-recognized school. In the main eligibility, the annual family income of the student should not be more than INR 2 lakhs. Applicants should not be in receipt of any other centrally funded prior scholarship.
Post Matric Scholarship for OBC Students	For OBC	Students studying in a post-matriculation level (up to class 11 postdoctoral level) from a recognized institution can apply for this scholarship. In the main eligibility, the annual family income of the student should not be more than INR 1.50 lakhs.
Post Matric Scholarship for ST Students	For ST	The scholarship is open to students studying at the post-matric level (post-doctoral level after class 11) from a recognized institution. In the main eligibility, the annual family income of the student should not be more than INR 2 lakhs.
Means cum Merit Scholarship	For all	Students pursuing a full-time degree course in a stream of arts, science or commerce at a government / provincialized college in Assam can apply for this scholarship. They must secure at least 60% marks or above in higher secondary examinations. In the main eligibility, the annual family income of the student should not be more than INR 2.50 lakhs per annum.
National Talent Search Exam (NTSE)	For all	It is a national level examination, conducted at the state level for the students of class 10, who are studying in recognized schools. Students studying through open distance education can also apply for the exam if they are under 18 years of age.
Assam Foundation of North America Academics Scholarship	For all	Students who are enrolled in undergraduate degree courses in any discipline can apply for this scholarship. They should have passed their Higher Secondary / CBSE / ISC / Pre-University examination. In the main eligibility, the annual family income of the student should not be more than INR 50,000.
Prime Minister’s Scholarship for Central Armed Police Forces and Assam Rifles	For all	The scholarship is open to wards and widows of the Central Armed Police Forces and AR personnel (who died at work), former Central Armed Police Forces and AR personnel (below officer rank) (who became disabled at work), and retired personnel. Happened. They should be of degree courses like Medical, Engineering, Veterinary, BBA, B.Sc., Dentistry, BCA, MBA, MCA, etc. They must have completed their qualifying examination (class 12, diploma, or graduation) with at least 60% marks.

Documents Required

The following documents are required in order to successfully apply for the Assam scholarship:-

• Bonafide certificate from college authority.
• Income certificate of parents from Circle Officer.
• HS (10 +2) final mark sheet.
• Self-declaration certificate not availing any other scholarship. – 1 page of the bank, bank name, IFSC code, account holder name, and account name display passbook.
