Ayush Scholarship Scheme 2024: Application Form, Last Date, Eligibility

The Indian Council for Cultural Relations has launched the Ayush scholarship scheme for students coming from foreign countries. Under this scholarship, financial assistance will be provided to the student to continue their undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Ayurveda Unani Siddha and homeopathy. All the students who clear the eligibility criteria can easily apply for this scholarship without worrying about financial problems. What is Ayush Scholarship Scheme

In the Ayush Scholarship Scheme, all those students will be benefited who desire to pursue Undergraduate and Post Graduate courses in Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha & Homeopathy, B.Sc in Yoga, BA in Yoga Shastra, Ph.D. in Yoga, and Ph.D. in Ayurveda in Indian Universities / Institutes / Colleges. Under this scheme, beneficiaries will get monetary help to complete their studies. Students can apply by following a few easy steps to get the scholarship, as mentioned in this article.

104 scholarship provided to the students

Under the Aayush scholarship scheme, the government has provided 104 scholarships to foreign students under UG, PG, and Ph.D. programs in the Ayush Institute. The minister of Ayush Sarbananda Sonowal has provided this information in the Rajya Sabha. Ayush courses are offered under the central sector for the promotion of international cooperation in Ayush. This scholarship is implemented through the Indian Council of cultural Relations. Countrywide Allocation of Seats

Under this fellowship scheme, 50 scholarship seats are allotted to all 98 countries for pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate in Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha, and homeopathy. Out of these seats, 20 seats will be reserved for candidates from Malaysia to pursue undergraduate in Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha, and homeopathy courses. Another 29 seats are reserved for WHO South Asia region countries in the National Institute for undergraduate in Ayurveda and homeopathy, PG, and Ph.D. courses. 5 seats will be reserved for students of African countries. If these seats remain vacant then applications from other countries will be taken into consideration

Objective of Ayush Scholarship

Indian Council for Cultural Relation is running Ayush scholarship schemes under the guidance of the Ministry of AYUSH. In this scheme, foreign students will get financial help to pursue Undergraduate and Post Graduate courses in Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha & Homeopathy, B.Sc in Yoga, BA in Yoga Shastra, Ph.D. in Yoga, and Ph.D. in Ayurveda in Indian Universities / Institutes / Colleges. The major objective of the government is to provide financial help to the students and promote education in the filled with Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha, Homeopathy, and Yoga.

Procedure To Register Ayush Scholarship Scheme

• To apply for the scholarship you need to go to the Ayush Scholarship website of Admission 2 Alumni Portal, Indian Council for Cultural Relation

• From the home page go to the registration option and a drop-down list will open on the screen
• Select Applicant registration option and the form will appear on the screen

• Enter the asked details like apply for, nationality, name, gender, DOB, mobile number, passport, email, password, etc
• Enter the code shown on the screen and hit the submit option
• Login with the ID and password, and complete the rest formality in the application
• Upload the necessary document and submit the filled application.
• Take print of the application and keep it safe.
