Features Of Kerala Vidyakiranam Scholarship 

The scholarship scheme is especially available for parents who are not able to provide proper opportunities to their children because they are differently abled and each category of the student will be provided with this scholarship scheme for studying in the Kerala state. Students will be provided Rupees 3000 to Rupees 10000 monthly under this scheme and 25 students will be selected from each district in the Kerala state. The students will be able to get an education from Government approved institutions and the financial assistance will be directly provided to the bank account of the beneficiaries.

Eligibility Criteria

You must follow the following eligibility criteria to be eligible for this prestigious scheme:-

• The applicant student must be a permanent resident of Kerala state.
• The second and most important eligibility criterion for this scheme is that the applicant‘s one or both parents must be 40% physically disabled.
• Applicants must be under the BPL category to get the benefit of this scheme.
• The applicant student must be pursuing their school and college education from a government institution.
• All candidates must have a bank account. As the state government will transfer the amount into the beneficiary bank account.

Benefits Of Kerala Vidyakiranam Scholarship

The following benefits will be provided to the beneficiaries studying in various classes under this scheme:-

1 to 5 Standard	Rs. 300/- per month for 10 months
6 to 10 Standard	Rs. 500/-  per month for 10 months
10+1, 10 +2, ITI, and other equivalent courses	Rs. 750/-  per month for 10 months
Bachelor/Post-Graduation Degree, Polytechnic and other equivalent courses, other training Courses, professional Courses	Rs. 1000/-  per month for 10 months

• Identity Proof/Aadhar Card.
• Disability ID Proof of the physically disabled parent/parents

Application Procedure Kerala Vidyakiranam Scholarship

To apply for the scheme you will have to follow the simple procedure given below:-

• First, you have to go to the Kerala Vidyakiranam website of the screen by clicking on the link given here

• The homepage of the scheme will be displayed on your screen.
• Now, you have to click on the option called Schemes present on the menu bar. 
• The list of schemes will be displayed on your screen.
• You have to click on the option called Kerala Vidyakiranam Scholarship Scheme 2023

• A new page with all of the information regarding the scheme will be displayed on your screen.
• You have to click on the option called Application Form displayed on the screen 
• You have to take a printout of the application form.
• Now you have to fill up the application form and attach all of the required documents.
• You have to submit the application form to your institution head who will then submit the application form to the authorities of Social Justice present in Kerala state.

Guidelines For The Scheme 

You must follow the following guidelines for the scholarship as per the authorities:-

• The scholarship will be provided to all classes for a duration of 10 months.
• Financial Assistance will be provided on time for each class.
• Those benefiting from other educational assistance schemes are not eligible to apply under this scheme.
• The acpplicants pursuing courses from Govt approved Institutions are eligible to apply. Students pursuing courses from parallel colleges and doing part-time courses need not apply.
• The duly filled application forms must be forwarded to the concerned District Social Justice Officers through the respective Institution heads. The scholarship amount will be transferred to the bank account of the eligible beneficiaries.
