About Ministry of NSP Ministry of Home Affairs Department

Prime Minister’s Scholarship Scheme For Central Armed Police Forces And Assam Rifles
The Prime Minister of India will be providing financial benefits to all of the people who are legal children of police forces appointed by the central government so that they can continue their education without any financial difficulty. The financial assistance will be directly transferred to the bank account of the beneficiaries and the beneficiaries will be able to use that financial assistance to continue their education in higher institutes under Prime Minister’s Scholarship Scheme For Central Armed Police Forces And Assam Rifles. Students will have to utilize the financial assistance in order to continue their education.
PRIME MINISTER’S SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME FOR WARDS OF STATES/UTs POLICE PERSONNEL
PRIME MINISTER’S SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME FOR WARDS OF STATES/UTs POLICE PERSONNEL is available by the central government in order to help the people who are children of state and union territory police personnel. The children will be provided 2500 if they are male and 3000 if they are female and also other financial assistance will be provided annually. Students can use these grants in order to continue their education in India.
Eligibility Criteria
Prime Minister’s Scholarship Scheme For Central Armed Police Forces And Assam Rifles
- For CAPFs & Assam Rifles:-I) Wards/widows of deceased CII) CAPFs & AR personnel died in harness/election duty, wards of personnel disabled due to causes attributable to Government service, and Wards of Ex-CAPFs & AR personnel in receipt of Gallantry Awards.III) Wards/widows of retired and serving CAPFs & AR Personnel. (Personnel below Officer Rank) Pursuing first professional degree program in the field of Engineering, Medicine, Dental, Veterinary, BBA, BCA, B. Pharma, B.SC (Nursing, Agriculture, etc.), MBA and MCA, etc. under the guidelines. IV) Having a minimum of 60% marks in Minimum Entry Qualification (MEQ) i.e. 10+2/Diploma/Graduation or equivalent in case of a new applicant. For applicants applying under the renewal category, it is mandatory to pass each subsequent academic year of the professional courses being pursued by them with a minimum of 50% marks. V) A grace period of one year only for cases, where there is a delay on the part of the candidate for application submission for renewal of scholarship may be entertained. For State Police Forces. Dependent wards of States/UTs Police Personnel who are martyred during Terror/ Naxal attacks are eligible under this category subject to the following) Pursuing my first professional degree program in the field of Engineering, Medicine, Dental, Veterinary, BBA, BCA, B. Pharma, B.SC (Nursing, Agriculture, etc.), MBA and MCA etc. II) Having minimum 60% marks in Minimum Entry Qualification (MEQ) i.e. 10+2/Diploma/Graduation or equivalent in case of new applicant. - The instructions will open on your screen.

NSP Ministry of Home Affairs Scholarship 2024 FAQs
If you want to apply for this prestigious scholarship scheme then you will have to visit the official National scholarship portal and then you have to click on the register button to register yourself.
People who are army personnel or their parents are in the police force will be eligible to apply for this prestigious scholarship scheme.
Rs 36,000/-to each girl & Rs 30,000/- to each boy will be paid by the Indian government in this prestigious scholarship scheme. The amount will be transferred to your bank account.
The students will be selected on the basis of their financial condition and also on the basis of the documents that they have submitted regarding their claim of being an army personnel ward.
