About Raman Research Fellowship
Raman Research Fellowship is an initiative started by the Council of Science and Industrial Research to support CSIR Researchers. The duration of this fellowship program is from 2 to 6 months. This fellowship program is tenable abroad at CSIR cost. Selection of the candidates will be made through interviews. Candidates have to present a letter of acceptance from the host institution duly attested by the Director of the Institute at the time of the interview. To get the benefits of this program nominations can be submitted by the CSIR institutes.

Eligibility Criteria
- The age of the applicant should not be more than 45 years.
- The applicant should be a scientist of the Council of Science and Industrial Research
- Applicant must possess a post-graduation degree in engineering and a Ph.D. degree in Natural Science
- Applicant must have completed a minimum of 5 years of service in CSIR on the last date of receipt of the application
- Applicants must have made a commendable contribution to research/innovation in the proposed area, which should be of an international level
