Award Details Under NOKIA Scholarship
The following awards will be available to all of the people who will be eligible for the Nokia scholarship:-
- The Nokia Foundation will grant a scholarship of up to 6000 euros (Rs 4,85,526).
- A scholarship can grant only once to the same individual.
Selection Criteria
The applicant must follow very rigid eligibility criteria in order to be eligible for the Nokia scholarship 2022 because the candidates will be awarded this scholarship financial amount based upon the fulfillment of the eligibility criteria that is mentioned in the official notification published by the Nokia organization for the development of the scholarship. The selection will be based on fulfilling the eligibility criteria. The decision will be made by the Foundation’s Board Members, which include representatives from both Finnish universities and Nokia. - The scholarships are primarily intended to support work for a doctoral dissertation before the pre-examination. In special cases, a scholarship can be grants also for instance for a conference presentation.
Eligibility Criteria
The applicant must follow the following eligibility criteria to apply for the Nokia scholarship:-
- The applicant must receive a commitment statement from his/her principal supervisor, who must be a professor, docent, or senior scientist at the university at which the student is pursuing their degree. The statement must submit to the electronic application tool by the supervisor.
- The applicant must be pursuing a doctoral degree in Information and Communications Technology (ICT) or in clearly related supporting scientific discipline
- The scholarship will provide for doctoral studies in a Finnish university or to a Finnish applicant for doctoral studies abroad.
