CSSS Scholarship Last Date Extended

As per the latest information released by the authority responsible for the conducting of the central sector scheme of scholarship, the last date to apply for the scholarship program has been extended. Earlier, it was 30th November 2021 which has now been extended up to 15th December 2021. Interested applicants can go to the official website of the national scholarship portal and register before the last date. Defective verification and Institute verification’s last date has also been extended up to 31st December 2021 which was earlier 15th December 2021.

As per the latest updates by the National Scholarship Portal, renewal applicants can apply for the central sector scheme of scholarship for the year 2021 -22 and fresh applicants from only these States can apply “ASSAM, BIHAR, ANDHRAPRADESH, UTTARAKHAND, CHATTISGARH, MANIPUR, KARNATAKA, TAMILNADU, GOA, J&K, MIZORAM, NAGALAND, TELANGANA”. Objective Of Central Sector Scheme

Allocation Of Scholarships

The scholarships are divided among the state Education Board that is based on the state population for the age group of 18 to 25 years, after that the share of CBSE and CISC I depend on the number of students passing out from the board. Out of that 50 persons are reserved for girls. Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship that is allocated to the state Education Board is based on the student pass out in Science commerce and humanities stream with the ratio of 3:2:1. if there is a shortage of the number of applications then the scholarship will be interchanged

Eligibility Criteria

  • 80% of successful candidates in class 12th are eligible to apply under this scheme
  • an applicant must be pursuing a regular course such as medical or engineering from a recognised Institute aur college by AICTE, dental council of India Medical council of India
  • The annual income of the candidates family should not exceed more than 8 lakh per annum from all the sources.
  • Students that are pursuing degree courses through distance for correspondence are not eligible to apply under this scheme
