Terms and Conditions
The applicant must follow the following terms and conditions to apply for the centrally sponsored scholarship program:-
- The scholarship will be for only one year. A student will not receive a scholarship for repeating a class.
- In an academic year, the scholarship will be payable for 10 months.
- A student getting a scholarship in Class 9 will be able to renew it for Class 10 subject to good conduct and regularity in attendance.
- The income certificate will be taken only once which will be at the time of admission to the course.
- The Government of India at its own discretion can change the provisions of this scheme at any time.
Selection Procedure
The candidates will select by the concerned organization according to the caste that they belong to so all of the scheduled tribe candidates will give the scholarship. The candidates will be able to get benefit from this scholarship by visiting the official website and applying for this scholarship. According to their category, the scholarship will be paid for 10 months in one academic year. Eligibility Criteria
The applicant must follow the following eligibility criteria to apply for the centrally sponsored scholarship scheme:-
- The applicant must be a domicile of Goa
- The applicant must be a regular, full-time student studying in Class 9 or 10
- The applicant must belong to the Scheduled Tribes community
- The applicant must have an annual family income of less than INR 2 lakh
- The applicant must not be getting any other centrally-funded Pre-Matric Scholarship
- The applicant must be enrolled in a Government school or in a school recognized by the Government or a Central/State Board of Secondary Education

- A passport-size photograph
- Scheduled Tribe certificate duly signed by an authorized Revenue Officer
- Income declaration, a certificate from the parents/guardians

To apply for the scholarship we will have to follow the simple procedure given below:-
- The candidates will first have to visit the Centrally Sponsored Pre Matric Scholarship website of the national scholarship portal by clicking on the link given here
- The home page will open on your screen.
- Click on the option called New Registration
- The instructions will open on your screen.
- Tick mark the declaration.
- Click on the “Continue” option.
- Enter all of the details.
- Enter name, date of birth, mobile number, gender, email ID, bank details etc.
- Enter the captcha code
- Click the “Register” option.
- Now you have to log in using your credentials.
- Click on the option called Application Form
- The application form will display on the screen
