Selection of the students among this scholarship will be made on the basis of the student’s family financial background and academic record.
Benefits Of Dr Ambedkar Scholarship Chandigarh
- Maintenance allowance will be given up to INR 750 per month,
- Reader allowance for blind students will be given up to INR 175 per month,
- Study tour charges up to INR 900 per annum,
- Thesis typing/ printing charges up to INR 1,000.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicant should be an Indian citizen
- Applicant must belong to General Category other than Schedule Caste, Schedule Tribe and Other Backward Classes
- Annual income of the applicant’s family should not more than INR 1 Lakh per annum
- Applicant must be a student of post- matriculation or post-secondary courses of Government institutions
- Only two boys of same parents/guardian will get scholarship
- Applicants must not hold any other scholarship/ stipend.

- To seek application for this scholarship, you have to go to the NSP portal
- Now you have to go to the new registration option which is available in the top of home page
- Read the information appears on the screen and tick the check box
- Choose continue button to register yourself and registration form will open
