Objective of First Graduate Scholarship

The government of Tamil Nadu has started the First Graduate Scholarship scheme with the motive of promoting higher education among less-educated families. This scholarship will help these people in getting a quality education and ultimately develop their families.

Eligibility criteria

Only those aspirants who meet the eligibility conditions specified below may apply for this scholarship scheme:-

• Students must get admission through TNEA Anna University counseling
• Applicant must have a domicile certificate of Tamil Nadu
• Applicant must belong to a family where no member is a graduate. 
• No family income limit is applicable to apply for this scheme.

First Graduate Scholarship Amount

Contenders will get the scholarship amount as specified below:

Day-scholar	Rs. 25,000/ year
Hosteller	Rs. 25,000/ year
