Karnataka NMMS Scholarship is this scholarship program. Students from the Karnataka state can take part in this scholarship program. Right now the registration procedure for this Scholarship exam is open on the official website. Students can submit the application for this Scholarship exam till 4th October 2023. The application form is available on the official website of Karnataka School Quality Assessment And Accreditation Council. Students who are interested can fill out the application form for the scholarship; they must follow the eligibility criteria presented by the organisation to be eligible. The scholarship is only open for class 8th students. 

What is Karnataka National Means Cum-Merit Scholarship?

The Karnataka National Means Cum-Merit Scholarship will be conducted on 17th December 2023 now that the registration procedure is already taking place on the official website. The last date to register yourself for the examination is 4th October 2023 so you must fill out the application form as soon as possible. The examination will only be conducted for class 8 students. Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates studying in class 8th in the government, aided and local body schools are eligible to apply for the NMMS examination. 
• Students from the residential schools are not eligible to apply for the NMMS exam. 
• Students from any government-aided residential schools are also not eligible to apply for this exam. 
• The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sainik School students are also not eligible for this exam.

Benefits of Karnataka NMMS Scholarship 

• Students who clear the NMMS exams are awarded INR 12,000 per annum, which will be awarded INR 1000 per month.

Selection Process

• The exam consists of two papers, General and other backward class students must obtain at least 40% average marks on both papers, and scheduled caste and scheduled tribe students must obtain at least 32% average marks on both papers. 
• The students belonging to different castes/ categories will be selected by DESERT based on the existing reservation and eligibility rule based on rank
