What are KSF Endowment Scholarships 2023?

KSF Endowment Scholarships 2023 is available to the dissolving students who are currently pursuing  PUC, Graduation, Post-Graduation and professional courses. Students who have studied in rural areas will be eligible to apply for the scholarship. Students must be coming from the economically weaker section of the society to apply for the scholarship. The scholarship is only available for small and regional farmers who are not able to continue their education. Physically challenged students can also apply for the scholarship. 

Eligibility Criteria 

• Candidates should have studied SSLC in a rural school only.
• Candidates must be from economically weaker sections.
• Candidates must be from families of small and marginal farmers.
• Physically challenged students are also eligible.
• Students who are the sons/ daughters of agricultural labourers or rural artisans and such other categories and who, in the opinion of the Office-bearers of KSF deserve consideration.
• Students who are eligible for financial help from the State / Central Government or any other private institute or organization are not eligible for the award of the KSF Endowment scholarship.
• The parents of the scholarship awardees should not be Government employees.
• Percentage of marks for short-listing candidates for the interview:
  • a. First-year pre-university students should have obtained 80% in the immediate previous examination[SSLC].
  • b. Students studying in courses like Diploma, Graduation like Degree/Post Graduate, Ph.D. etc. should possess 80% OR Grade SGPA 8.00/10.

What are KSF Competitive Exams Scholarships 2023?

KSF Competitive Exams Scholarships 2023 is presented to students who are coming from the economically backward section of society but are currently preparing for competitive examinations available in India. Students who are preparing for the UPSC and other types of examinations will be provided financial assistance to help them continue their education. You can check the details related to this scholarship available for the students from the pointers given below: 

Eligibility Criteria

• They should score a minimum of 70 percent in the Entrance Test conducted by KSF to assess their aptitude for competitive examinations.
• The merit criterion will be decided by the screening committee at the time of admission of students. Those candidates who score more than 70 percent and above will be considered for the scholarship.
• Selection will be made on merit and economic background. The merit criterion is decided by the screening committee at the time of admission of students.
• Candidates who appear for the prelims in KPSC and UPSC examinations would be eligible for a fee concession of Rs. 10,000/- of the total fee prescribed for the training course. For the Mains paper for UPSC/KPSC candidates selected for the training in the Mains would be chosen for a grant of scholarship of Rs. 20,000/-
• Those who qualify in the Mains examination for viva-voce would be eligible for traveling allowance in Second Class AC Sleeper /Economic class airfare to New Delhi and back.
• Other examinations conducted by the KSF Branches viz., First Division Assistants, Panchayat Development Officers/Village Accountants, Teachers, etc. KSF Endowment scholarship would be given to the extent of 50 percent wherever the eligible candidates are available.
