- The applicant must have scored 60% marks in class 12th and more than 60% marks in the subjects of math and physics.
- The applicant must be a permanent resident of Maharashtra state.

- He is not awarded any other scholarship by the State & Central government.
- The new sanction process is through the DHE office and the Renewal sanction process is through the joint director office of concerned colleges. Selection of Candidates Is on a Merit basis
