If you belong to minority committees such as the Muslim committee or Buddhism committee then you can apply for this Minority Scholarship Maharashtra and get proper opportunities to continue your education in India. You have to fill out the application form before the last date of 31st March in order to apply for the different types of scholarships.

Benefits Of Scholarship
The following benefits will be provided to the people applying for this scholarship:-
- The selected students will receive a total annual course fee of INR 25,000 (whichever is less).
Documents Required
The following documents are require in order to apply for this scholarship:-
- School leaving certificate
- New applicants need to submit HSC and SSC marksheet (Not applicable for renewal)
- Income certificate of Parents/Form no 16 (Note – In the income certificate/Affidavit, it should be clear cut mentioned that the candidate belongs to a minority community.)
- Domicile certificate
- Aadhar card
- Previous year’s marksheet
- Father’s PAN card
- Mother’s PAN card (optional)
- Student’s PAN card (optional)
- If a candidate is studying outside Maharashtra the following documents need to be submitted –
- Letter from concerned council/Authority stating the institute is recognized.
- Copy of FRA
- Bonafide for the current academic year
Terms and Conditions
The applicant must follow the following terms and conditions in order to apply for this is scholarship:-
- 30% of seats are reserved for girls.
- The candidates studying outside Maharashtra but are domiciled in Maharashtra are eligible for the scholarship.
Eligibility Criteria
The applicant must follow the following eligibility criteria to apply for this scholarship:-
- The applicant must be domiciled in Maharashtra
- The applicant must belong to the Muslim, Buddha, Christian, Jain, Sikh, Parsi, Jews religion
- The applicant must have taken admitted in MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, BUMS, BPTH, BOTH, BASLP, BP&O, BSc Nursing, MSc Nursing, BPMT, Ophthalmic Assistant, Optometry, PB BSc Nursing and courses affiliated with Maharashtra University of Health Science, Nashik
- The applicant must have taken admission to the course through CET/competitive exam/HSC marks obtained
- The applicant must have an annual family income of less than equal to INR 8 lakh

Minority Scholarship Maharashtra 2023 Application Procedure
To apply for the scholarship we will have to follow the simple procedure given below:-
- The candidates will first have to visit the Minority Scholarship website of the national scholarship portal by clicking on the link given here
- The home page will open on your screen.
- Click on the option called New Registration
- The instructions will open on your screen.
- Tick mark the declaration.
- Click on the “Continue” option.
- Enter all of the details.
- Enter name, date of birth, mobile number, gender, email ID, bank details etc.
- Enter the captcha code
- Click the “Register” option.
- Now you have to log in using your credentials.
- Click on the option called Application Form
- The application form will be displayed on the screen
- Enter details including the State of Domicile, Name of the student, Date of Birth, Community/ Category, Father’s Name, Aadhaar card Number, Mobile Number, Scholarship Category, Gender, Religion, Mother’s Name, Annual Family Income, Email ID etc.
- Click on “Save & Continue”
- Upload the documents.
- Click on “Final Submission’’
- The application form will be successfully submitted.
Check Application Status

- Click on the option called Login.
- A new page will open on your screen.
- You need to select your year from the drop-down menu.

- Enter your application ID and password.
- Click on the option called Submit.
