About National Scholarship Exam NSE
The National Institute of Career Education which is situated in Nashik is inviting people so that they can give the National Scholarship Examination for the year 2024 and gain a scholarship starting from Class 8 up to the Ph.D. for the academic year 2024. The examination will be conducted in a multiple-choice pattern and the students will be able to assess in many different languages. NSE 2024 Eligibility Criteria
The applicant must follow the following eligibility criteria to apply for the scholarship:-
- The candidates in class V to class XII studying in SSC, ICSE, or CBSE boards can apply for this exam.
- Students should be pursuing diploma or undergraduate degree courses in any stream.
- This exam is available in English and other regional languages.

Ranking Criteria
The selection and ranking criteria for the scholarship is given below:-
- The national merit scholarship exam will prepare the students’ rank list in descending order.
- If two or more candidates have secured equal marks in the NSE scholarship final exam, the committee will select the student who has scored more marks in the following subjects

Online Application Process Under National Scholarship Exam
To apply for the scholarship through the online method you will have to follow the simple procedure given below:-
- First, go to the NSE Webpage of the scholarship
- The homepage will be displayed on your screen.
- Click on ‘Apply Now ‘ to begin the scholarship registration process.
- A new page will be displayed on your screen.
- Read all of the instructions carefully.
- Click on the ‘Students Registration’ option
- The application form will be displayed on your screen.
- Enter all of the details.
- Upload documents
- After completing the national scholarship exam registration process, the students will obtain a user ID and password.
- Login using your credentials.
- You will now be able to access the student dashboard.
- Pay your application fees.

To apply for the scholarship by using the offline method you will have to follow the simple procedure given below:-

- Download the Application Form and take a printout.
- Fill in the accurate details on the application form.
- Pay the national scholarship exam fees through offline mode.
- The candidates should make the payment through the Demand Draft (DD).
- Send the form to the head office or branch office.

- The educational institutions should submit a letter mentioning the participants’ names with their principal’s signature and stamp.

Terms And Conditions
The applicant must follow the following terms and conditions to apply for the scholarship:-
- The national scholarship exam question paper consists of Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs).
- Each question in the national scholarship exam question paper will have four alternatives.
- The students can choose the correct answer from these four alternatives.
- The national scholarship exam syllabus includes the following four subjects:
- Mathematics and general science
- General knowledge
- Reasoning and analytical
- Comprehension
- Each subject contains 25 marks. Therefore, the national scholarship exam question paper has a total of 100 questions.
- Each question in the national scholarship exam question paper will carry one mark. Therefore the total marks for the national scholarship question paper are 100 marks.
- The national scholarship examination is for 90 minutes (1.5 hours), with no negative markings.
- The students should pay INR 400 as the national scholarship exam fee. If they fail to make the payment, the organizers will reject their applications.
- The students who submit the application forms after the last date should pay INR 50 as late fees.
- The candidates who apply through the online mode will have their username and password on their national scholarship exam admit card.
- The national scholarship exam admits cards will contain the students’ seat numbers and exam centers.
- They can download the national scholarship exam admit cards online through the official website.
- The national scholarship exam’s director reserves the right to change the exam dates and centers under unavoidable circumstances.
- The candidates’ national scholarship exam admit cards will have information regarding their exam center’s location.
- The organizers will usually assign the national scholarship exam center within 30 km of the candidate’s school or college.
