About SOF National Science Olympiad 2023
SOF National Science Olympiad is a test held by the Science Olympiad Foundation. This test is for students from classes 1st to 12th. This test will help the student in knowing their academic performance at four different levels – within the school, at the city level, at the zonal level, at the regional level, and above all at the international level. Exams will be held in two levels.
Level 1 of the examination will be an objective-type test. Level 1 exam contains 35 MCQs for classes 1 to class 4 and 50 MCQs for classes 5 to class 12 for which students will get 60 minutes to solve only. Questions of the examination will be on Logical Reasoning, Science, and Achievers Sections for classes 1 to 10th, and for students of classes 11 & 12th questions will be asked on Physics/Chemistry, Achievers Section, and Mathematics/Biology.
Level 2 is conducted for students of class 3 to class 12. The second level is for the top 5% of students who clear the 1st level exam. Top 25 rank holders class-wise & Zone wise and at least 10 students from a class appear in the exam & score 50% qualifying marks.

SOF NSO Registration Fee
The registration fee for the Olympiad is INR 125. Schools can charge an extra INR 25 from the students for an honorarium of charge, remuneration to teachers to teach and guide, and other expenses.

- Applicants should be a citizen of India, Bangladesh, Bhutan & Nepal.
- Applicant should be studying from class 1 to 12th

SOF National Science Olympiad 2023 Application Procedure
Students can apply for the SOF National Science Olympiad by submitting the application form through offline mode. Forms are available in the school that is registered with SOF. Students need to submit the application form with all the important details prior to the last date to the school coordinator. School coordinators will forward the applications to the SOF office after completion along with the Students’ Registration Sheet duly filled as per the guidelines. Along with the application form students need to submit the registration fee.
