Eligibility Criteria
The applicant must follow the following eligibility criteria in order to apply for this scholarship scheme:-
- Candidates should belong to the Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Other Backward Classes (OBC).
- Candidates should be pursuing studies from Class 1 to Class 10.
- The family income of the candidate should not exceed INR 1 lakh per annum.
- Candidates must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in their last qualifying examination. Class 1 students are excluded from meeting these eligibility criteria to be eligible for the scholarship.
- The parents of the candidates who are not in regular jobs and are unable to provide basic requirements like education to their children are eligible for the scholarship.
- The candidate should be a domicile in Karnataka.

- College Registration Number / Students SATS ID
- Aadhaar Number
- Mobile Number
- National Scholarship Portal ID
- Income / Caste / EWS Certificate number in the name of the student
- e-Attestation Numbers
- Disability Card Number
- FRUITS ID(Applicable for students who are children of farmer/s)
- Email ID
- e-Attestation of fee receipt is not required for all students studying in Karnataka

SSP Pre Matric Scholarship 2024 Registration Procedure
To register yourself at the official portal you will have to follow the following registration procedure:-
- First, you will have to go to the SSP Pre Matric website of the state scholarship portal.
- The homepage of the website will open on your screen
- You will have to click on the option called create account
- A new web page will open on your screen
- You have to now select a plan according to your choice.
- Select your caste/class
- Now you are required to select your district and taluk of your Institute/college
- Now, if you are having your Aadhaar number then you have to click on Yes
- Enter all your Aadhaar-related information and click on Submit.
- Now you have to enter information regarding your contact details.
- Enter your email ID and mobile number
- An OTP will be sent on your mobile number which you have to enter into the OTP box
- Enter your caste certificate details like your religion, category, caste certificate number, etc
- Enter your income certificate information
- If you have a ration card then enter the ration card details also.
- Finally, you have to create your password.
- The account will be successfully made on the official website.
Application Procedure For The Scholarship

- After that, you have to click on the option called Click Here To Apply
- A new page will open on your screen
- You have to now click on the Login button
- Now you have to enter your username, password, and captcha code
