West Bengal Minorities Development & Finance Corporation under the Minority Affairs and Madrasah Education Department, the Government of West Bengal has created a new scholarship scheme that will be provided on a merit basis to all of the candidates who are continually getting good marks in their educational studies. All of the students will be provided the opportunity to continue their education through the development of the West Bengal Merit Cum Means Scholarship and you have to fill out the application form starting on 15th August 2022. - Maintenance allowance – INR 5,500
- Hostellers –

Eligibility Criteria
The applicant must follow the following eligibility criteria to apply for these scholarships:-
- The applicant must be a domicile of West Bengal
- The applicant must have secured admission to a technical/professional course
- The applicant must have scored at least 50% marks in the Higher Secondary or Graduation examination
- The applicant must have an annual income of less than INR 2.5 lakh
Terms and Conditions
The applicant must follow the following terms and conditions to apply for the scholarship:-
- The scholarship amount will be credited to the student’s bank account through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) mode.
- The students applying for this scholarship should fulfill the attendance criteria of the institute in which they are enrolled.
- If a student is found to have obtained a scholarship by a false statement, it will be canceled immediately and the amount will be recovered.
