Times of India Scholarship is for the students of classes X to XII. This scholarship is known as the “Times Scholars Program”. The motive of the organization behind this scheme is to develop a reading habit among the students which will help them develop a holistic understanding of our society, the environment, and an informed worldview. This program enables the students to become good citizens and write a better future for themselves.

Times Scholars Rewards And Recognition

Eligibility Criteria
- Aspirants must pass the 10th/11th/12th standard examination from schools recognized by the state or central board.
- Aspirants should be Indian citizens.
Selection Process
The selection process of the times scholar program may include the following steps:
| Reading phase | One article each day has been published in the Times of India newspaper over a span of 50 days on the following fields under the label reading TIMES SCHOLARSCurrent Affairs, Science & Technology, Sports, Politics, Social Issues, Education, Global Developments, etc. |
| Practice Tests and Presentations | In the course of the reading phase of the program, 6 practice tests will be conducted. Twice during the program, seekers will be asked to summarize the stories and upload/send their summaries in a PowerPoint presentation format by online mode. Each practice test comprises 3 stories with 6 questions each and answers to the question is to be made within 15 min. by the students. |
| Final Examination | Online examination will be held. The test comprises 11 stories with 6 questions each and answers to the question are to be made within 60 min. by the students. |
| First Shortlist and Interviews | Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of cumulative scores of Practice Tests and Presentations plus the Final Examination Selected candidates will call for an interview |
| Winners and felicitation | The final selection of the candidates will be made on an interview basis and winners will get a laptop |

Procedure To Apply Times of India Scholarship
- To apply for the scholarship program contenders should rush to the Times Scholars website
- From the home page of the portal click on the registration link
- Provide your email id, and name, and create a password
- Register yourself by hitting the register option and completing the email verification
- Now, the application form will appear on the screen
- Fill in the details as asked in the form and upload the documents
- Submit the application form after reviewing the form
- Take a print of it for future use.

- To check the scholarship winner list contenders should rush to the Times Scholars website
- From the home page of the portal click on “Winner of time scholar”
- A scholar list will appear and you need to check your name in it.
