Selection Criteria
The applicant will have to go through the following selection criteria to be selected for this recruitment:-
- The written test will conduct in the following prescribed format and criteria :
- Written Tests will conduct with Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) consisting of four options with one correct option.
- Candidates will have to secure a minimum of 40% marks in the written test to qualify for the selection process.
- After securing the required marks in the written test, candidates will be called for document verification round.
- Candidates will go through the pre-engagement medical test and after that whoever is declare fit in the examination will consider for engagement as apprentices.
Eligibility Criteria
The applicant must follow the following eligibility criteria to apply for recruitment:-
- The applicant must be within 18-24 years of age
- The applicant must have 3 year of diploma in Electrical Engineering in the Electrical discipline from a recognized institution.
- The applicant must have 3 years of diploma in Instrumentation, Instrumentation & Electronics Instrumentation & Control Engineering in the Instrumentation discipline from a recognized institution
- The applicant must have passed exams with a minimum of 50% marks
- The applicant must be under the category of “Fresher apprentice”
- The applicant must not have undergone apprenticeship training earlier
- The applicant must not have undergone training or job experience for a period of one year or more after the attainment of the qualification
- The upper age limit for SC/ST candidates is up to 5 years and for PwD candidates the upper age limit is 3 years.

- You will first have to visit the IOCL website of the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme by clicking on the link given here
- The homepage of the organization will display on your screen.
- You have to click on the Enroll button present on the menu bar
- The enrollment page will display on your screen.

The applicant must follow the following terms and conditions to select for the apprenticeship program presented by the organization:-

- The applications are invite by Indian Oil for Apprenticeships at its Refineries at Guwahati, Digboi, and Bongaigaon (all 3 in
- Assam), Barauni (Bihar), Vadodara (Gujarat), Haldia (West Bengal), Mathura (UP), Panipat {Panipat Refinery &
- Petrochemical Complex (PRPC)} (Haryana) and Paradip (Odisha).
- The period of apprenticeship training is for one year.
- The period of apprenticeship training may extends under certain circumstances.
- The apprenticeship agreement will register online with respective authorities.
- The SC/ST/PwBD candidates appearing for Written Test/Document Verification will reimburse a single second-class railway fare from the nearest railway station.
- The candidates who fall under the “person with benchmark disability” category must be certified with not less than 40% of a specified disability.
