The Odisha Government is creating a new scholarship opportunity with a budget of Rupees 30,030 crores for the education sector. Overview of Odisha Mukhyamantri Medhabi Chhatrabruti Yojana

The Odisha Mukhyamantri Medhabi Chhatrabruti Yojana will help people to get scholarships if they are studying for undergraduate or postgraduate degrees available in the Odisha state. 10000 rupees per annum will be provided to the UG students and there will be 10000 eligible candidates in this category. If you are pursuing a PG degree then you will be provided 15000 rupees per annum however only 5000 candidates will be able to take advantage of this scholarship. Rs. 20,000 per annum to 10,000 eligible technical and professional students will be provided by the concerned authorities. The scholarship will only be available to these students who are finding it difficult to continue their education without the help of a supporter. • 155 crore provided to the Gangadhar Meher Sikshya Manakbrudhi Yojanav (GMSMY) for supply of Free Bi-Cycle to all Students studying in Class-IX of Govt., Govt. Aided, Block Grant High Schools, Sanskrit Tols and Madrasa.
• 811 crore is presented for the Mukhyamantri Medhabi Chatra Protsahan Yojana. This is a scholarship scheme.
• 4 crore is allocated for the AKANKSHYA Scheme. This will provide students pursuing higher studies in Urban Areas with residential accommodation.
• 3,173 crore is allocated for the Higher Education Department
• 163 crore is available for infrastructure development of higher education institutions.
• 170 crore are allocated to Mo College Abhiyan and Rs.50 crore for distribution of laptops under Biju Yuva Sashaktikaran Yojana.
• 20 crore is allocated to Odia University at Satyabadi, Puri.
• 228 crore is for the infrastructure development of Government Universities and Colleges under the Odisha Higher Education Programme for Excellence and Equity (OHEPEE).
• 986 crore is allocated to the Skill Development and Technical Education.
• Transformation of Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology, Burla and Odisha University of Technology & Research with an outlay of Rs.2,000 crore and Rs.1,500 crore. This amount is for 5 years. 
• 241 crore is allocated for development of Technical Universities, Engineering Colleges, Polytechnics and ITIs.
• 10 crore is allocated to Samakhya scheme. This is for the female students studying in Government ITIs and Polytechnics.
• 100 crore is allocated under Odisha Skill Development Project to promote industry linked training programs. This will help in employment. 
• 22 crore is allocated to the Directorate of Employment. This is also for self employment purposes. 
• 100 crore is allocated to NUA Odisha (Nutana Unnata Abhilasha). This will train one lakh youth in future technologies like Cloud Computing, Artificial Intelligence, Augmented Reality-Virtual Reality, Data Science, 3D printing etc

• Visit the Odisha Mukhyamantri website of the scholarship portal of the Government of Odisha

• Click on the “Student Registration” link on the homepage to register for the scholarship.

• Fill in the registration form with the required details such as your name, email id, mobile number, date of birth, etc.
