About AADB Japan Scholarship Program 2023

Asian Development Bank invited application forms through offline mode from international students for ADB Japan Scholarship Program. This program is for students who hold bachelor’s degrees and desire to pursue master’s degrees. The eligible course and institute lists are given below. Students who are going to take admitted in the below-given course from an eligible institute can apply for the scholarship. Applicants need to submit the application form in the prescribed format prior six months before the commencement of the intake that they wish to join.

Eligibility Criteria
  • The applicant should be a citizen of any of the above-mentioned country
  • Applicant should not hold citizenship of any developed country
  • He/She must have taken admitted to- an approved master’s course at a Designated Institution.
  • Applicant must have possessed a bachelor’s degree with good academic marks
  • Applicant must have at least 2 years of full-time professional working experience
  • He/She should not be more than 35 years old
  • The applicant should be in good health
  • Applicant must desire to come back to the home country after completion of the program
  • He/She should not be a staff of ADB–JSP Designated Institutions
  • Applicants should not live or work in a country other than/her home country
Important Dates
  • Applicants should submit the application at least six months before the commencement of the intake that they wish to join

  • To apply for the scholarship, you have to visit the ADB Japan website of the Asian Development Bank

  • From opened page go to the Procedure for Applying section
  • Choose “Application form (PDF) or Application form (MS Word)” option and the form appear on the screen
  • Take a print of the application form and start filling in the details in the application like
    • Name
    • Nationality
    • Date of birth
    • Sex
    • Age
    • Address
    • Proposed study plan etc.
  • Submit the application form to the institution along with the course application.
