Asian Development Bank invited application forms through offline mode from the international students for ADB Japan Scholarship Program. This program is for the students who hold bachelor’s degrees and desire to pursue master’s degrees. The eligible course and institute lists are given below. Students who are going to take admission in the below-given course from an eligible institute can apply for the scholarship. Applicants need to submit the application form in the prescribed format prior six months before the commencement of the intake that they wish to join.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicant should be a citizen of any of the above-mentioned country
  • Applicant should not hold citizenship of any developed country
  • He/She must have taken admission in an approved master’s course at a Designated Institution.
  • Applicant must have possessed a bachelor degree with good academic marks
  • Applicant must have at least 2 years of full-time professional working experience
  • He/She should not be more than 35 years old
  • Applicant should be in good health
  • Applicant must desire to come back to the home country after completion of the program
  • He/She should not be a staff of ADB–JSP Designated Institutions
  • Applicant should not living or working in a country other than his/her home country

  • Applicants should submit the application at least six months before the commencement of the intake that you wish to join

  • To apply for the scholarship, you have to visit the official website of the Asian Development Bank

  • From opened page go to the Procedure for Applying section
  • Choose “Application form (PDF) or Application form (MS Word)” option and form appear on the screen
  • Take print of the application form and start filling the details in the application like

    • Proposed study plan etc.
  • Submit the application form to the institution along with the course application.
