Pre Matric Scholarships Scheme for Minorities

There are different types of scholarships available by the national scholarship portal for people who are still in their schools and they do not have financial resources to complete their schooling due to various problems that they are going through. You can apply for the pre-matric Scholarship by visiting the national scholarship portal and you will be eligible for financial assistance. Students upto class 10th can apply for the scholarship and they will be provided scholarship fees plus maintenance allowance. 

Post Matric Scholarships Scheme for Minorities

For people who are coming from the minority community, a post-matric scholarship is also available so that they can continue their higher education after completing their schooling. The students can once again apply for this scholarship by visiting the official website of the national scholarship portal. Students above class 10th will be provided with this prestigious scholarship scheme. A scholarship of Rupees 3000 to 10000 will be given to the students plus a maintenance allowance will be given according to the course that the student is pursuing.

Merit Cum Means Scholarship For Professional and Technical Courses CS

The students who are pursuing professional and Technical courses will be eligible to apply for this prestigious scholarship scheme presented by the Ministry of Minority Affairs. The students will be provided 20000 Rupees as financial assistance plus maintenance alloys ranging from rupees 500 per month to rupees 1000 per month for day Scholars and hostellers accordingly. Begum Hazrat Mahal National Scholarship

This scholarship is only available for girls so that they can be provided empowerment to continue their education. The Begum Hazrat Mahal National Scholarship is a very prestigious scholarship which is providented in order to promote girl students. Rupees 5000 for class 9th and 10th and 6000 for class 11th and 12th will be provided through the development of this scholarship.

Eligibility Criteria 

Pre Matric Scholarships Scheme for Minorities

• The applicant must have secured not less than 50% marks in the previous final exam.
• The applicant’s annual income must not exceed Rs 1 lakh from all sources.

Post Matric Scholarships Scheme for Minorities

• The applicant must have secured not less than 50% marks in the previous final exam.
• The applicant’s annual income must not exceed Rs 2 lakh from all sources.

Merit Cum Means Scholarship For Professional and Technical Courses CS

• The applicant must have secured not less than 50% marks in the previous final exam.
• The applicant’s annual income must not exceed Rs 2.5 lakh from all sources.

BEGUM HAZRAT MAHAL NATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP

• This scholarship is only available for girls.The students belonging to six notified Minority Communities i.e. Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists, Jains and Parsis are eligible.
• The annual income of the student’s parents/guardians from all sources does not exceed Rs.2.00 lakh.
• The scholarship will be awarded to minorities’ girl students who are studying in Class 9th to 12th and have secured at least 50% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate in the previous class/qualifying exam.
• Scholarships will not be given to more than two students from a family of the same class.No scholarship shall be given for studies abroad for any course.In addition, the applicant student must have an Aadhaar card, bank account passbook and self-declaration certificate.

NSP Scholarship 2024 Application Process

• The candidates will first have to visit the NSP website of the national scholarship portal by clicking on the link given here

• The home page will open on your screen.
• Click on the option called New Registration

• The instructions will open on your screen.
• Tick mark the declaration.
• Click on the “Continue” option.
• Enter all of the details.
• Enter name, date of birth, mobile number, gender, email ID, bank details etc.
• Enter the captcha code y
• Click the “Register” option.
• Now you have to log in using your credentials.
• Click on the option called Application Form

• The application form will be displayed on the screen
• Enter details including the State of Domicile, Name of the student, Date of Birth, Community/ Category, Father’s Name, Aadhaar card Number, Mobile Number, Scholarship Category, Gender, Religion, Mother’s Name, Annual Family Income, Email ID etc.
• Click on “Save & Continue”
• Upload the documents.
• Click on “Final Submission’’
• The application form will be successfully submitted.
