SOF Defence Services Academician Scholarship is an educational organization that organizes academic competitions in order to develop a spirit of competition among school children but in a positive way. The organization is responsible for promoting Science, Maths, Computer Education, and all other subjects through the names of the academic Olympiad so that it can help the students to pursue careers in Science and Technology. Science Olympiad Foundation has been presented in the world for the last 25 years and it has been promoting scientific attitudes and temperament among students.
The students will be able to participate in the Science Olympiad by taking into consideration the application form that is presented by the organization to the school authorities and then the teacher will take up the responsibility to promote the olympiads and make the student sign up for the academic Olympiad. The main aim of these programs is to identify the students who are working hard to develop science practices in their life.

Objective Of The Scheme
SOF Defence Services Academician Scholarship is created by the Science Olympiad Foundation in order to provide scholarships for the students who are doing very well in their school the students will have to be selected by the school authorities and then the school authorities will send a proposal recommending the Student. The school will have to send all of the important details regarding the student according to the selection criteria mentioned by the Science Olympiad Foundation and then only the student will be selected on the basis of the performance that they have put forward in their last qualifying exam. The students must be interested in Science and then only they will be provided financial assistance. The financial assistance will be directly transferred to the bank account of the beneficiaries till the last date which is 31st March 2024.

Features Of The Scheme
- This scholarship is an annual award scholarship presented by the organization.
- 260 Indian students will be selected for the scholarship program.
- The selection of winners will be done from the recommendation sent by the school authorities.
- The selected students will be awarded a cash scholarship of 5000 and a merit certificate.

Selection Procedure
- The school may send a proposal recommending one student for consideration for DSAS.
- Each school may recommend only one student.
- Recommendations should be signed by the School Principal/Headmaster/Headmistress only.
- Recommendations should be in the specified format and complete in all respects/with required attachments.
- The students being nominated must be studying in the recommended school in India in class one to class ten.
- The school should send a copy of his/her previous year’s report card duly certified by the Principal to SOF along with the DSAS application form.
- All proposals received will be evaluated by a committee set up by SOF.

- The students cannot directly submit their application form for the prestigious scholarship because the students will be selected on the basis of the recommendations sent by the school principal.
