Padua International Excellence Scholarship 2023- Application Open

Padua International Excellence Scholarship 2023 offers 53 scholarships to talented students who want to pursue a bachelor’s or master’s degree in English at the university. The scholarship is highly selective and the students will be selected on the basis of a particular selection criteria of the scholarship committee. Students can now apply for the scholarship by visiting the official website of the university and they will be eligible to get selected if they follow the selection procedure. Students who have high achievements can be selected by the scholarship committee and they must continue the good work in order to renew the scholarship for the whole of the UG or the PG degree that they have chosen. Objective Of Padua International Excellence Scholarship 2023

If you are someone who needs to get scholarship opportunities and you want to continue your UG or PG degree in English then you can apply for the scholarship available in Italy which is known as the Padua International Excellence Scholarship. The main objective of this scholarship is to provide proper opportunities to students who are coming from International Schools. The financial assistance will be directly transferred to the bank account of the beneficiaries and they will be increased to continue their education in Italy which is in need of getting financially strong by inviting international students to study in the universities. Students will be provided the opportunity to learn in a strong environment and they will be able to learn more about the Italian culture and traditions.

Reward Details 

• Fee-waiver + €8,000 scholarship (gross amount) per each academic year. 
• The only amount to be paid by beneficiary students for each year consists of an admission fee, corresponding to the regional tax and marca da bollo.

Duration of Padua International Excellence Scholarship

• 2 continuous years for Master’s degree candidates;
• 3 continuous years for Bachelor and Single-Cycle degree candidates.
• After the duration indicated above, beneficiary students will be required to cover their own expenses as well as tuition fees until graduation.

Eligibility Criteria 

• Highly talented prospective international students from all over the world wishing to enroll in one of the University of Padua Bachelor’s or Master’s degrees completely held in English.
• Do not possess Italian citizenship (except for dual citizenship including Italian);
• hold a non-Italian foreign secondary school diploma (for Bachelor’s or Single-cycle degrees applicants) or a non-Italian Bachelor’s degree (for Master’s degree applicants) allowing admission to the Italian University system;
• do not reside in Italy;
• apply to one or more degree programmes completely taught in English at the University of Padua. Please remember that you can apply for up to 3-degree programmes.
• If you meet these requirements, you will be automatically considered for the selection procedure. There is no separate application or additional specific documents to be submitted besides those required to apply for the selected degree programme.

Selection Criteria

• The Academic Committee of each degree program shortlists eligible applicants and awards the most deserving candidates the scholarships, based on academic excellence in their field of study, quality, and records from their prior learning.
• Scholarships are reserved for candidates applying for the first application period; on an exceptional basis, the Academic Committees may decide to award the scholarship to eligible candidates of the second application period. 
• Scholarship selection results will be published at www.unipd.it/en/assessement-results according to the timeline indicated in the Call for applications. In the case of unlimited access degree programmes, scholarship results will be published starting from 11 March, before the admission offer deadline.

Acceptance Guidelines

• if you are offered a Padua International Excellence scholarship you will receive a Padua International Excellence scholarship offer indicating the procedure and the deadline to accept it. To receive the scholarship, you must not benefit from other grants and be able to comply with the conditions to finalize your enrolment at the University of Padua. You will receive the first installment upon your arrival in Padua. The merit conditions required to maintain the scholarship are detailed in the Call for applications.
• The scholarship will be paid in two (2) installments of  €4,000 (gross amount) each per academic year upon achievement of the merit requirements indicated in the Call for Applications.

Revocation

The University of Padua will revoke your scholarship if:

• you do not obtain at least 20 ECTS by 30th November 2023 of the following a.y.
• you decide to transfer to another University or withdraw from your studies.
• In the above cases, you shall refund the amount of the scholarship already received.

Padua International Excellence Scholarship 2023 Application Procedure

• Applicants will be automatically considered for the scholarship if they follow the selection procedure.
• They need to submit the application for the degree that they want to pursue and they will be automatically selected for the scholarship.
