Amount Sanctioned Under Scholarship for Ward of Serving Police Personnel

The director general of police has launched a DGP Sanctions Merit Scholarship. Under this scheme, financial assistance will be provided to the meritorious ward of serving police personnel. The government of Jammu and Kashmir has provided around 19.62 lakh scholarships to 290 serving police personnel wards. Around 315000 will be provided in favor of 31 wards for securing 80% and above marks in the annual examination. Those students who have secured around 94% marks in MBA will get Rs 18000 while those student who have secured at least 80% marks will get Rs 12000. This scheme will motivate students to get good marks. Other than that with the implementation of this scheme, the students will become send dependent
