Eligibility Criteria
- Every year 1,00,000 students will be selected throughout India. Out of which 4087 scholarships are being allotted to Residuary Andhra Pradesh.
- It has been distributed among the districts based on enrollment in VII & VIII Classes and Child population for each academic year.
- The candidate’s parental income should be below Rs. 3,50,000/- p.a from all the sources.
Benefits of AP NMMS scholarship
- Students who are not able to continue their education in Government schools will be eligible to get financial assistance every month.
- The financial assistance will be directly transferred to the bank account of the beneficiaries.
- Students will be provided motivation to continue their education.
- 12000 Rupees per annum will be provided to all the beneficiaries to help them continue their education in India.

| AP NMMS Scholarship | The selected student shall receive a sum of Rs. 12,000/- per annum for which the selected student shall have to open a joint Savings Bank Account with their parents in any S.B.I or in any Nationalized Bank which has a core banking facility/ESC facility. Selection Process
- Students will be selected based on the qualifying marks that are presented by the NMMS authorities. You can check the details of the qualifying marks for each category from the pointers given below:
- 1) GEN, BC & PH: 40% (36 MARKS)
- 2) SC & ST: 32% (29 MARKS)
- The student must Qualify for both the tests i.e., Mental Ability Test (MAT) and Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) with at least 40% marks in aggregate taken together for these two tests.

AP NMMS scholarship 2023 FAQs
All the students who are studying 8th class in Government, Zilla Parishad, Municipal, Government Aided, Model Schools (Without Residential Facilities) and MPUP schools Managements with 55% marks in 7th class (for SC/ST 50%) and the parental annual income below Rs.3,50,000/- are only eligible for the AP NMMS Scholarship.
