What is PM Young Achievers Scholarship Unded EWS Category?

The Government of India has formulated the PM Young Achievers Scholarship Award Scheme for Vibrant India also called YASASVI. The students who belong to OBC, EBC, and DNT are eligible for this scheme. The PM Young Achiever Scholarship Award scheme is a great opportunity for all financially backward students who want to pursue higher education. All the students who have cleared their class 10th examination with at least 80% marks. And want to pursue their class 10th and class 12th examinations from a known school and are eligible for this scheme. Eligibility Criteria 

• The student must be studying in class 12th or 11th 
• The student must have cleared their class 10th examination from a state or private board 
• The applicant must have scored at least 50% in their class 10th examination 
• The annual income of the applicant’s family must not exceed INR 6 lakh per year
• The candidate must pursue 11th or 12th standard schooling through regular mode. Open school/ private studying students are not eligible.

Selection Process

• Scrutiny of applications will be done.
• A list of the selected seekers will be prepared based on academic marks and financial background
• Selected students have to appear for a telephone interview
• The further selected students have to appear for an interview in person if required.
