Objective Of Vidyadhan Scholarship
The main objective of the organization is to reach thousands of students so that students can get free education if they are not able to afford regular education due to their economical background. The students will be provided with education through the implementation of this scholarship scheme and if the student doing well during the duration then they will be awarded a scholarship so that they can pursue a graduate degree also. This scholarship will be highly beneficial for all of the poor students of the state and the application procedure is also available online so the students will not have to present anywhere physically in order to get the benefit of this scheme. The scholarship amount is Rupees 10000 and it will be variable according to the degree that the candidate is pursuing through the implementation.
Features Of Vidyadhan Scholarship
Vidyadhan provides scholarship opportunities for students of class 11th till graduation. In this scholarship opportunity, the students will be provided 10000 Rupees to 60000 Rupees per year through the duration of their course. This is a highly comprehensive degree education scholarship program that will also include training and monitoring for meritorious students especially coming from the economically backward section of society. The organization will provide you with residential training on life skills, career orientation, and employment. Vidyadhan Scholarship Eligibility Criteria
Vidyadhan Scholarship 2023 will be given to the students following the following eligibility criteria:-
- The applicant should have scored at least 90% marks or equivalent in Class 10/ SSc examination.
- Disabled candidates should have scored at least 75% marks in Class 10 qualifying examination.
- The students should have completed their Class 10 education from Kerala, Karnataka, Pondicherry, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, and Maharashtra.
- The annual family income of the applicant should not exceed INR 2,00,000 from all sources.
Rewards Details
The following rewards will be provided to the students in this scholarship scheme:-
- The selected candidates belonging to Kerala will receive a scholarship amount of INR 5000 per annum to pursue Plus 1 and Plus 2 education.
- Outstanding secondary-level students will be provided with a scholarship to pursue their degree program in any discipline.
- The selected students belonging to Karnataka, Pondicherry, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, and Maharashtra will receive a scholarship amount of INR 5000 per annum to pursue Class 11 and Class 12.
- The selected students have to attend the mentoring program from the Sarojini Damodaran Foundation.
- Students pursuing graduate-level programs will receive a scholarship amount of INR 10,000 – INR 60,000 per annum based on the course, duration of the course, state, etc.
Documents Required
The following documents are required in order to apply for the scholarship scheme:-
- SSLC/ SSC/ Class 10 or equivalent marks card (If the original marks card is not available, the students can upload the provisional marks card from the respective State/ CBSE/ ICSE board website)
- Passport size photograph
- Income certificate
- Disability certificate (if applicable)
Selection Process
You will have to go to the following selection criteria in order to apply for the scholarship:-
- The initial selection of candidates is based on academic performance and other details in the application form.
- The selected students will have to appear for a test and an interview process.
- The date, time, and location of the exam/ interview will be communicated individually to the shortlisted candidates via email or SMS.
- In certain cases, the travel expenses of the students and the parent will be reimbursed by the scholarship committee.
