About Sanskriti Madhobi Chatterji Memorial Fellowship
This is an initiative for Indian Classical Music and Dance artists. This initiative will enrich the art form of the fellows. The fellowship is only for a 10 months duration. Fellows who get selection for the program will get a monetary reward. Rewards will provide directly to their bank account in two equal installments. Objective Of Fellowship
The objective of the Sanskriti foundation behind launching this Fellowship is to encourage the young Indian classical music and dance artists to develop their potential and skills by providing them with the resources and time to dedicate the art.
Benefits Of Sanskriti Madhobi Chatterji Memorial Fellowship
Selected fellows will get a grant of Rs. 100000/-. The grant will be given in two equal installments. First Installment will grant at the beginning of the fellowship program and the second installment at the end of the program.
Eligibility Criteria
- A seeker should be an Indian citizen
- A seeker should be e a piece of Indian classical music or dance artist
- Applicants must have some years of formal training in Indian classical music for dance.
- Seeker required to have given at least 2-3 solo performances to his/her credit
- Applicants must not obtain any other fellowship for financial assistance at the same time.
Fellowship Tenure
The tenure of the fellowship will be of 10 months. Candidates need to sign an agreement with Sanskriti pratishthan in which it has been specified that the candidate agrees to the regular workflow during the fellowship period.

Sanskriti Fellowship 2023 Application Procedure
- To apply for the this Fellowship, you have to send a two-page CV along with a CD of their recitals and a proposal.
- The proposal should be written in approximately 500 words explaining how the fellowship will provide an opportunity to express their creativity and technical competence and expand the repertoire of their style.
- Applicants are advised to provide postal and telephonic contact details of their own along with a valid email id.
- Must mention the names and contact addresses/telephones of two references.
- Enclose the application in an envelope and write “Sanskriti Sanskriti Madhobi Chatterji Memorial” on top of it.
