Fellowship Rewards
The following rewards will be provided to the selected students under this fellowship.
- Rs. 25,000 will be provided to the student as a monthly fellowship in addition to the regular income.
- The research grant of worth Rs. 15 lakh per year will be provided to the selected scholars
- Rs. 1 lakh per annum as overhead will be provided.
Selection Criteria Of Abdul Kalam Technology Innovation National Fellowship
The following selection criteria for this fellowship is as follows:
- Candidates’ selection will be done periodically that is normally twice a year
- The selection will be made by the search cum selection expert committee
- The selection will be made as per the broad guidelines of the fellowship
Terms & Conditions
- The list of candidates can be sent by the head of the institution organization president fellows of National Science Engineering academic SS Bhatnagar awardees and JC Bose awardees
- All the areas of Engineering Innovation and technologies are covered under this fellowship
- The time limit of this Fellowship is 3 years
- The extent will be done on the basis of performance by up to 2 years
- This Fellowship is taxable as per the rules of the Indian government
- This scholarship is available for a maximum of 5 years
Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for this fellowship are as follows:
- An applicant must be a permanent resident of India
- The candidate must be an Indian national working person an engineering professional in the public-funded institution
- An applicant must have adequate professional qualification
- He or she must hold at least a bachelor’s degree
- The candidate must have 5 years of service left in the parent organization
- The candidate should not hold any other fellowship
