The All India Council for Technical Education launched the AICTE Yashasvi Scholarship on 7th June 2024 to provide educational opportunities to meritorious students who are currently pursuing technical education in core branches of engineering. About AICTE Yashasvi Scholarship

AICTE Yashasvi Scholarship was created by the All India Council for Technical Education to provide scholarship opportunities to the meritorious students of India. Under this program, 5000 scholarships will be provided to students who are currently pursuing a degree or diploma in the engineering field. The AICTE will provide INR 18,000 per year for 4 years to the degree student and INR 12,000 will be provided to the diploma student for 3 years. The selection of the candidate for diploma and degree will be dependent upon their 10th and 12th-grade qualification. The main objective of launching this scholarship is to boost engineering education across India and increase job opportunities.

Objective of AICTE Yashasvi Scholarship

To support meritorious students in pursuing technical education in core branches of engineering, the AICTE has launched the AICTE Yashasvi Scholarship. Under this scholarship, INR 18,000 per year will be provided to the degree students and INR 12,000 will be provided to diploma students so that they can continue their education without worrying about any financial hurdle. The main objective of launching this scheme is to boost the core engineering sector to turn it into a global leader in technology. With the help of this scholarship, the organization will be able to boost core engineering education and improve job opportunities for engineering students across the country. 

Eligibility Criteria

• An applicant must be a permanent resident of India. 
• The candidate must have taken admission in the first year of degree level course. 
• All the applicants must have been admitted in the first year of the diploma-level course. 
• The candidate must be pursuing engineering-level courses from the AICTE-approved institution of the respective year.

Financial Assistance

Degree level students	INR 18,000 per year for a maximum of 4 years
Diploma level students	INR 12,000 per year for a maximum of 3 years

No of Scholarship
